Crime Report on Feb. 09, 2018

1.   AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 19/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 08.02.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Shanti Swaroop, I/O PS Rohru alleging therein that on 08.02.2018 at about 06-30 PM, during patrolling/ traffic checking alongwith staff near Subji Mandi Rohru, a Alto Car No. HP63-9841 alongwith two persons namely Vinod Kumar (Driver) S/o Sh. Main Ram R/o Village Dugyari and Virender Kumar S/o Sh. Dhani Ram R/o Village Chilala, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla stopped by them for checking. During the search, 48 Bottles of Country liquor recovered from the vehicle under their possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Shanti Swaroop, I/O PS Rohru.

2.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 14/18 has been registered at PS New Shimla today on 09.02.2018 U/S 279, 337, 338 IPC on the statement of Sh. Deepak Yadav S/o Sh. Jaman Prasad R/o House No. 181 Block-G, Gajipur Village,  Delhi A/P C/o Krishi Chand Building near Saundarya School Tutikandi, Shimla, age 23 years stated therein that today at about 12-30 AM, he was coming to his quarter Tutikandi from Vikas Nagar in his Motorcycle No. DL7SBX-3348. On the way, a Recovery Van No. HP63-0852 (E-Plus) came rashly with negligent driving in wrong direction and hit his Motorcycle, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Dinesh Kumar, I/O PS New Shimla.

3.   NON-APPEARANCE IN RESPONSE TO A PROCLAMATION: Case FIR No. 20/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 09.02.2018 U/S 174A IPC on the statement of HHC Bhupinder Singh, A/P Posted in PP City Rohru alleging therein that he alongwith staff went to search the Proclaimed Offenders. On 08.02.2018, when they were at Parwanoo, on the secret information accused/PO Preet Singh S/o Sh. Ami Chand R/o Village Ganga Nagar PO Sheel Sub-Tehsil Tikker District Shimla, who was declared PO by the Ld. Court in Case FIR Nos. 68/06 Dt. 23.03.2006 U/S 376, 506 IPC  &  70/06 Dt. 24.03.2006 U/S 224 IPC registered at PS Rohru, apprehended by them from Microtech Company Sector-5 Parwanoo. The case is being investigated by HC Ashish Kumar, I/O PS Rohru.

4. During last 24 hours 157 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 135, fine realized Rs. 54,800/- and 26 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,100/-

FOLLOW UP

1. Accused i) Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Satish Chand R/o Kun PO Shambhuwala GP Bankala, Tehsil & PS Nahan Distt. Sirmaur, HP & ii) Naresh Chand S/o Sh. Satish Chand R/o Village Kun PO Shambhuwala GP Bankala, Tehsil & PS Nahan Distt. Sirmaur, HP, arrested in case FIR No. 27/18 Dt. 02.2.2018 U/S 302, 201 IPC at PS Shimla West, today remanded in judicial custody upto 22.02.2018 by the Ld. Court.

2.    Proclaimed Offender Preet Singh S/o Sh. Ami Chand R/o Villge Ganga Nagar PO Sheel, Sub-Tehsil Tikker District Shimla, age 44 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 20/18 Dt. 09.02.2018 U/S 174A IPC at PS Rohru, remanded in Judicial custody upto 19.02.2018, by the Ld. Court.
