Crime Report on Feb. 15, 2018

1.    An Accident case FIR No. 16/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 14-02-2018 u/s 279,337 IPC on the statement of Kumari Usha D/o Sh. Jeet Ram VPO Taklech Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 14-02-2018 she and her sister was going towards Rampur from Nogli in auto. When they reached at Daklor above auto met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving auto driver. The case is being investigated by HC Garib Dass I.O PS Rampur.

2.    An Accident case FIR No. 39/18 has been registered at PS West today on 15-02-2018 u/s 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Manish Sharma S/o Sh. Raghunath Sharma R/o Vill Hathnidhar PO Biachadi Tehsil & Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 14-02-2018 at about 08-30 PM he was coming to Shimla from Chandigarh in his Vehicle No. HP62C-0696 and when he reached near Tara Devi-Totu crossing one Tipper No. HP63-4816 came rashly and negligently and firstly hit motorcycle No. PB11Y-1567 after that his car and than hit HP63-4612 and rolled down from the road. In this accident complainant and Motorcycle rider sustained injuries. This accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving of Tipper driver Shankar. The case is being investigated by ASI Vijay Kumar I.O PS West Shimla.

3.    A Fire Incident case FIR No. 37/18 has been registered at PS West on 14-02-2018 u/s 285 IPC on the statement of Sh. Arun Kumar S/o Sh. Ramesh Kumar R/o VPO Bhavai Tehsil Sangrah Distt. Sirmour HP stated therein that vehicle No. HP03C-2178 Maruti 800 car burnt due to  short circuit near Police Parking Tara Devi. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder I.O PS West.

4.    A Mischief by killing or maiming cattle, case FIR No. 09/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 14-02-2018 u/s 429 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Bhagat Singh S/o Sh. Jagat Ram Vill Old Jubbal Tehsil Jubbal Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 14-02-2018 at about 6-45 PM one pickup No. HP62A-2807 came from Jubbal Bazzar hit one cow near his house and  cow died on the spot.  The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar I.O PS Jubbal.

5.    An Excise Act case FIR No. 16/18 has been registered at PS East today on 15-02-2018 u/s 39(1)A HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Prem Singh I.O PS East alleging therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty he intercepted one person namely Sh. Virender S/o Sh. Ran Sigh R/o VPO Korag Tehsil Sangrah Distt. Sirmour A/p Kanungo Bhawan Lower Vikasnagar Shimla and recovered 08 bottles Una No.-1. The case is being investigated by ASI Prem Singh I.O PS East.  

6.    An Excise Act case FIR No. 16/18 has been registered at PS East today on 15-02-2018 u/s 39(1)A HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Rajinder Singh  I.O PS East alleging therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling near patrol pump Vikas nagar he intercepted one person namely Sh. Daulat Ram S/o Sh. Shalaku Ram Vill. Fadog PO Vakras Tehsil Shilai Distt. Sirmour A/p  S/o Sh. Ran Sigh R/o VPO Korag Tehsil Sangrah Distt. Sirmour A/p Kanungo Bhawan Lower Vikas nagar Shimla and recovered 07 bottles Una No. 1. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajiner Singh I.O PS East.

7.    A House Trespass case FIR No.23/18  has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 15-02-2018 u/s 452,323,504,506 IPC on the complaint of Sh.   S/o Samriti Devi W/o Sh Palas ram R/o Vill Kanna ( Narada) PO Bhareri Tehsil Kumarsain that on 14-2-2018 at about 10-00 PM She along with her husband were present at her Kitchen and taking dinner with family meantime one Sh Madan Lal S/o Sh Seu ram trespassed into her house/ Kitchen, abusing her & beaten her with kicks and punches and she sustained injuries and threatened with dire consequence. The case is being investigated By ASI Vijay Kumar I/O P.S Kumarsain Please.

8.    During last 24 hours 132 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 88, fine realized Rs. 26,500/- and 29 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2900/-

FOLLOW UP

1.    Accused Chunni Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Amar Singh R/o Village Optua PO & Tehsil Nerwa, District Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 09/18 dated 11.02.18 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Nerwa and is remanded in Judicial Custody by the Ld. Court.

2.    Accused Bhagat Ram S/o Sh. Uchboo Ram R/o Village Bajah PO Tikkeri Tehsil Chopal, Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 08/2018 Dt 11-02-2018 u/s 376 IPC at PS Nerwa is remanded in Judicial Custody by the Ld. Court.
