Crime Report 17 June, 2015

1. An Accident case FIR No. 219/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 16-06-15 U/S279,337 IPC on the Statemant Sh. Jagdish Chand S/o Rama Nand R/o Vill Chieg (Kit) PO & Tehsil Theog stated therein that  on 16-06-15 he was going to Fanewati with Amrik Singh in vehicle No. HP 52A-4377. When they reached near Fanewati Curve, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Amrik Singh & rolled down from the road. In this accident they sustained injuries.  The case is being investigated by HC Tulsi Dass I.O PS Junga PS Dhalii.
2. A Cheating case FIR No. 137/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 16-06-15 U/S 420, 467,468, 471 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Krishan Parmar S/o Sh. Rikhi Ram Parmar at present senior Manager Syndicate Bank The mall Shimla alleging therein that in the year 2011 Sh. Amit Sharm S/o Sh. Lekh Ram M/s Amit Construction has obtained the loan by producing the fake & forged documents and cheated the bank. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachmi Singh I.O PS Sadar.
3. A Cheating case FIR No. 146/15 has been registered at PS West today i.e. 17.06.2015 U/S 420 IPC on the application of Sh. Devinder Kumar S/o Sh. Niram Dass R/o Village Damog, PO Dharogra, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla A/p Manager, Pineview Filling Station, Motor Barrier Shimla stated therein that on 14.06.2015, he received a call, who told himself Senior Officer in Hindustan Petroleum and demanded the money from him for the treatment of his relative. On 14, 15 & 16.06.2015, he deposited Rs. 2,44,000/- in his account. Now his mobile is coming switch off and also not returning his money. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS West.   
4. During the last 24 hours total 242 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act & 02 persons challaned under Smoking Act. Total Challan compounded = 111 and fine realized Rs 49,200/-
