A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 278/14 has been registered at PS West on 16-12-2014 U/S 18,20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Shyam Tomar, I/O PS West, Shimla, alleging therein that today he was on traffic checking duty alongwith staff at NH -22 near Taradevi Shimla . At about 02.30 PM, a Truck No. HP62-2559 a/w Sh. Pankaj Kumar s/o Sh. Bachan Lal r/o Vill. Malog, PO Taradevi Shimla has been intercepted by them. During search, 284 gram Opium & 22 gram Charas recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Shyam Tomar I.O. P.S. West, Shimla.
A Theft case FIR No.81/14 has been registered at PS Chiragaon on 15.12.2014 U/S 379 IPC on the Complaint of Sh. Hem Singh Chauhan A/P SDO(E) DD No. 1 Chirgaon alleging therein that during the intervening night of 14/15-12-2014 some unknown person has stolen the coper wire of transformer at village Peja Tehsil Chirgaon. The case is being investigated by HC Rukam Chand I/O PS Chirgaon.
During last 24 hours 55 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 14 challan under smoking act. Total challan compounded= 32 and the fine realized Rs. 9200/-

Accused Pankaj Kumar s/o Sh. Bachan Lal r/o Vill. Malog P.O. Taradevi Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 278/14 Dt. 16.12.2014 U/S 22 of ND&PS PS West.
