A Wrongful Restraint case FIR NO 71/14 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 25.12.2014 U/S 341,323 IPC on the application of Sh. Govind Singh S/O Sh. Ram Singh R/O village & PO- Majhawali Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla (HP) alleging therein that on 25.12.2014 at about 08-50 AM, after duty he was going to home from Bawani Power House Manglad. When he reached near Ghatti, at the same time two persons namely Chander Shakher S/O Lt. Sh.Roshan Lal & Diwan Chand S/O Sh. Layak Ram R/O majhwali obstructed his way beaten him. The Case is being investigated by HC Noop Ram, I/O PS Jhakri.
During last 24 hours 245 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 17 Challaned under Smoking Act and 01 Challened under Mining Act. Total challan compounded= 189 and the fine realized Rs. 70,200/-

Deceased Sukhwant Singh S/o Late Sh. Kala Singh R/o Plot No. 69, Shyam Nagar Extenstion No. 110018, New Delhi, Age 59 year, who was working as labourer at HIMMUDA colony Kasumpti, Shimla, has been died due to Heart Attack at Ridge Maidan Shimla on 25.12.2014. He was taken to IGMC Shimla for treatment in 108 Ambulance, where doctor declared him braught dead.

Accused Vishal Sareen S/o Sh. Naveen Chander Sareen R/o Fire Wood Cottage, Upper Kaithu Shimla, age 40 years arrested in case FIR No 159/14 Dt. 24.12.14 U/S 354(D) (i), 506 IPC at PS East, is on police remand upto 27.12.2014.
