Crime Report 05 December, 2014

1.    A Burglary case FIR No. 76/14 has been registered at PS Chopal on 04.12.14 U/S 457 380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Yashwant Singh Zinta S/O Sh. Gulab Singh R/O Vill. Jaigarh, PO & Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla HP alleging there in that on 02.12.2014 he was out of station to attend the marriage ceremony at Yamuna Nagar. On 03.12.2014, his uncle Virender Singh informed him telephonically that locks of doors are opened of his house. On 04.12.2014 when he reached at home and found that the locks of the doors were broken and stolen away golden ornaments i.e. three Tops, one diamond, three rings, two nose pins, one chain,  one pendal, and cash Rs. 20,000/- form his house. The case is being investigated by HC Gian Singh I/O PS Chopal.

2.    A House Trespass case FIR No. 171/14 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 04.12.14 U/S 451,506, 34 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Roshni Devi W/o Sh. Dhani Ram R/o Village & PO Malyana, Dhalli alleging therein that Sh. Kulwant and Ashok came to his quarter and threatened her with dire consequences.  The case is being investigated by ASI Dharam Singh PS Dhalli.

3.    A Mischief by destroying or moving Case FIR No. 190/14 has been registered at PS Theog on 04.12.2014 U/S 435 IPC on the application of villagers of Majrana alleging therein that during marriage function at village Majrana, one person namely Basant Singh S/O Sh. Bhart singh quarrelled with villager and set a fire to grass toly. The case is investigating by ASI Santok Singh I/O PP Mantiana

4.    A House Trespass case FIR No 143/14 has been registered at PS Rohru on 04.12.2014 U/S 451, 427 IPC on the application of Sh. Banwari Lal S/o Sh. Ishawari Nand R/o near PWD workshop Rohru Distt. Shimla alleging therein that Vijay Kumar Karol, Monty Sons of Sh. Mohan lal alongwith another three persons have broken the pillar & bricks wall and destroyed his house, which is under construction. The case is being investigated by HC Parkash Chand I/O PS Rohru.

5.    A Cheating case FIR No. 222/14 has been registered at PS Sadar on 04.12.2014 U/S 420,465,467,468,471IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sunil Khanna and Rajneesh Khanna Sons of Sh. Dharampal Khanna R/o 166 Sajja n Niwas, Anaj Mandi Shimla alleging therein that Smt. Brij Mohini, Smt. Vimla Khanna, Sh. Ramesh Kapoor, Sh. Jagmohan, Sh. Man Mohan Khanna, Sh. Dheeraj Khanna, Kumari Anita Seth, Vimla Devi, Smt. Babita Obroi, Smt. Sunita  & Sh. Sanjeev Goel have produced a fake will regarding a flat on base story of Daliya Cottage at Shimla.  The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhami Singh, I/O PS Sadar.

6.    An Accident case FIR No 147/14 has been registered at PS East on  05.12.14 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Shyam Lal S/O Devi Ram R/O Baghi Nala P/O Dev Gharh, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that he was coming in the vehicle No. HP63C-5550 to KNH Shimla with his family and vehicle was driven by the  Manoj kumar. When he reached near St. Beads Collage Navbahar Shimla, due to rash and negligent driving driver above vehicle met with an accident. They sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASi Partap Singh I/O PS East

7.    During last 24 hours 184 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 08 challaned under Smoking Act. Total challan compounded= 79 and the fine realized Rs. 31,700/-

Follow-Up

1.    Accused Sukhpal S/o Sh. Mangnu Ram r/o Vill. Bobhoh P.O. , P.S. & Tehsil Padhar age 30Year has  been arrested in case FIR No. 237/14 Dt 03.12.2014 U/S 326A, 323  IPC at PS West, Shimla has sent judicial costudy.

2.    Accused Deepan Dogra S/o Sh. Ravi Dutt Dogra R/o Village Shilli Karyali, PO Halidhar, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 99/14 Dt. 04.12.2014 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kumarsain is on police remand upto 08.12.2014.

3.     Accused Tilakraj Kalta S/O Late Sh.  Manni Ram R/O Baral, PO Jahrag PS Rohru Tehsil Rohru Distt Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 50/14 Dt. 13.9.2014 U/S 420 IPC at PS Kotkhai is on police remand for three days.
