Crime Report 12 December, 2014

1. A Fire Incident case FIR No 173/14 has been registered at PS Rampur on 11.12.2014  U/S 285,427 IPC on the application of Sh. Sohan Lal Forest Guard I/C Baie Bahli Beat alleging therein.that on 10.12.2014 at about 9.40 AM, some unknown person has set a fire in Forest Land near Banala and destroyed the forests. The case is being investigating by HC Bakshi Ram, I/O PP Nankhari.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 103/14 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 11.12.2014 U/S 279,304A IPC on the Statement of Sh Sunil Sharma S/o Lt Sh  Shankar dass Vill Narkanda tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that on 11.12.2014 at about 01-30 PM, one maruti car bearing No HP-06C-4005 met with an Accident and rolled down 300 Meter from NH-22 at Konthalu near Narkanda due to rash & negligent driving of Dhungi Ram S/o Late Sh. Doei Ram R/o Vill Maghgawon, PO Shahdhar, Tehsil Rampur, Distt Shimla. In this accident driver Dhungi Ram died on the spot. The case is being investigated By ASI Brij Lal I/C PP Narkanda.

3. Resistance or obstruction by a person to his lawful apprehension case FIR No. 245/14  has been registered at PS West on 11.12.2014 U/S 224 IPC  on the statement of HHC Chander Shekhar, A/P Police Line Kaithu Shimla alleging therein that on 11.12.2014, he was taken  accused Dinesh @ Vinod Karki S/o Sh. Hukam Singh R/o Ward No. 7, Kanwar Singh Building near Radha Swami Petrol Pump, Rohru, who is under judicial custody, to produce in the Ld. Court of Session Judge, Shimla from Sub-Jail Kaithu. After produced in the court, he alongwtih above accused was coming back to Kaithu. While he alongwith abhove accused were coming back to Kaithu and reached near Capital Hotel, above accused pushed him and ran away towards Annandale from his custody. After that above accused has been arrested from Annandale Temple. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram, I/O PS West.       

4. An Accident case FIR No. 57/14 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 11.12.2014 U/S 279 IPC & 180 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Umesh Kumar S/o Sh. Devi Ram R/o Village Dharogra, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla A/P Shopkeeper, Anchal Electronics, Khalini, Shimla alleging therein that he parked his car No. HP-63-1789 (Maruti Car) near Fauji Shop at Khalini. On 11.12.2014 at about  02-30 PM one person namely Rajat Verma,  Shopkeeper Computer Centre at Lower Khalini, came to him and taken the key of his vehicle by saying that he will parked his own vehicle nearby the vehicle of applicant properly. But on the same day at about 04-00 PM, Rajat Verma came to his Shop and told him that his car met with an accident, which was driven by Saurabh. The case is being investigated by HC Anil Kumar, I/O PS New Shimla.

5. An Accident case FIR No. 58/14 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 11.12.2014 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ram Dass S/o Late Sh. Deema Ram R/o Village Khudana, PO Sarpara, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla A/P Shivpuri, Kanlog, New Shimla alleging therein that on 11.12.2014 at about 05-45 PM, he was coming towards Khalini from BCS on foot. When he reached Near Shimla Public School, Khalini, one vehicle driven by Hemant Kumar came rashly and hit him from backside. He sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SHO PS New Shimla.  

6. An Accident case FIR No. 246/14 is registered today i.e. 12.12.2014 U/S 279,337 IPC on the rukka of HC Laiq Ram, I/O PS West Shimla allegijng therein that today he received a telephonically information in Police Staion that one vehicle met with accident near Middle School Chakkar. On this information he alongwith staff rushed to the spot and found that one Alto car No. HP-51-4391 met with an accident and rolled down 200 feet from the road near Middel School Chakkar. In this accident one person sustained injuries. The case is being ivestitgated by HC Laiq Ram, I/O PS West.

7. During last 24 hours 186 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total challan compounded= 98 and the fine realized Rs. 23,900/-

Follow-Up

1. Accused Hem Raj S/o Sh. Tara Chand R/o Village & PO- Baragaon, Distt. Shimla A/P Student in APG University, Shimla & Hemant @ Chhalu S/o Sh. Maan Dass R/O Village & PO Kartot, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla, age 19 years have been arrested in case FIR No. 152/14 Dt. 11.12.2014 U/S 379 IPC PS East, is on police remand upto 15.12.2014.

2. Accused  Dinesh @ Vinod Karki S/o Sh. Kukam Singh R/o Ward No. 7 Kanwar Singh Building Near Radhaswami Petrol Pump Rohru Distt. Shimla,Age – 42 years has been arrested in case FIR No. 245/14 Dt. 11.12.14 U/S 224 IPC PS West, sent to judicial custody upto 24.12.2014.
