Crime Report on April 15, 2018

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 20/18 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 14.04.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vimal sharma S/O Sh. Parkash Sharma R/O Village Pokhrala PO Ratnari Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla stated therein that on 13.04.2018 at about 10:30 PM, he along with his elder brother Vishal sharma and his friend Pawan @ Anku S/o Sh. Rajender Sharma R/O Bakhrala P.O Ratnari Teh. Kotkhai Distt. Shimla H.P was going towards Ratnari in Car No. HP06A-7065. As they reached near Rawlakiar, above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down 250 meter from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Pawan. In this accident Vishal sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal  I/O PS Kotkhai.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 21/18 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 15.04.2018 U/S 279 304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Roshan Lal I/O PS Kotkhai  alleging therein that today on15.04.2018 at about 01:00 AM, a vehicle No. HP09C-5243 met with an accident near Kokunala Petrol Pump Kotkhai and rolled down about 60 meters from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Bhupinder S/o Sh. Sant Ram R/O Village Channot PO Galeha Teh Kotkhai Distt Shimla and died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal  I/O P S Kotkhai.
3. During last 24 hours 283 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 185 fine collected Rs. 68,300/-, 06 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs.700/- and 03 Challaned under Mining Act.

FOLLOW UP

1.    Accused i) Hitesh Vijay S/o Sh. Jai Singh R/o Village Lateda, PO Cholthra, Tehsil Sarkaghat, District Mandi, age 34 years and ii) Rakesh S/o Sh. Sant Ram R/o Village Banali PO Sadhot Tehsil Sarkaghat District Mandi, age 42 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 91/18 Dt. 13.04.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS West, are remanded in Police custody upto 17.04.2018, by the Ld. Court.
