Crime Report on April 10, 2018

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 69/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-Sadar on 09.04.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Ram S/o Sh. Karm Singh R/o Village & PO Kanag Tehsil Pooh, District Kinnaur, HP stated therein that on 09.04.2018, he alongwith Varun Prakash was going towards Sanjauli from Lakkar Bazar in his Motorcycle No. PB11V-8653. At about 11-30 AM, as he reached at Car Washing Centre near Auckland Tunnel, a Motorcycle No. AP07-CW-5132, came rashly in wrong direction and hit his Motorcycle and run away from the spot. In this accident, they sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Amar Dutt, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 85/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-West on 09.04.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Smt. Hem Lata W/o Sh. Surjeet Singh R/o Village Vodavi PO Malrawn Tehsil Jhanduta District Bilaspur stated therein that on 09.04.2018 at about 08-00 PM, he was going to her in-laws house alongwith her daughter & Brother. At Tutikandi Crossing, as she was crossing the road, at the same time a vehicle No. HP11-2439, came rashly with negligent driving and run away from the spot after hitting her, caused sustained injuries to her. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder, I/O PS West.
3. During last 24 hours 296 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 147 fine collected Rs. 62,600/- and 06 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 700/-.
