Crime Report on 30 April, 2018

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 47/18 Dt. 29.04.18 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Chopal has been registered on the rukka of SI Kamlesh Kumar, SHO PS Chopal alleging therein that on 29.04.2018 at about 07-45 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, three unknown persons were coming from Dimo Forest.  When they saw the police party, they got turned and run away from the spot and threw their two bags. During the checking, 2.600 Kg. Charas recovered from the bags. The efforts are still continue to apprehend the accused and the case is being investigated by SI Kamlesh Kumar, SHO PS Chopal.
2. AN EXCISE ACT: case FIR No. 106/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-West on 29.04.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Surjeet Singh, I/O PS West alleging therein that, on 29.04.2018, he alongwith staff was on patrolling/traffic checking duty towards Totu. At about 09-30 PM, on the secret information, they conducted raid in the room of Taranjeet Singh S/o Sh. Sardar Dharmendra Pal Singh R/o 67/4 Jutogh Cantt. Shimla, age 27 years, at Thakur Building near Totu, Shimla and recovered 22 Boxes of illicit English liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated  by ASI Surjeet Singh, I/O PS Shimla-West.
3. A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 107/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-West today on 30.04.2018 U/S 147 148 149 323 504 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Harish Thakur S/o Sh. Brij Lal Thakur R/o Type-II Block-I Set-6, Chakkar Shimla-5 alleging therein that on 29.04.2018 at about 11-00 PM, some hooligans were creating nuisance on Chakkar Road. When he alongwith his friend Divyanshu tried to stopped them, on this they beaten them brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay Kumar, I/O PS Shimla-West. 
4. During last 24 hours 448 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 155 fine realized Rs. 60,500/- and 23 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2300/-.

1.    AN EXCISE ACT case FIR No. 105/18 has been registered at PS West today on 29-04-2018 u/s 39(1)a HP Excise act on the rukka of HC Puran Chand IO/SIU Shimla alleging therein that today on 29-04-2018 at 7.25 AM he alongwith staff was at Chakkar and recovered 02 Boxes of country liquor marked as Himachal Orange, 02 Boxes marked Una No.1 and 02 Boxes of MC Dowells each bottle 750 ml from vehicle No. HP14E 0132Mohindra Verito driven by driver Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Rajender Singh R/o Vill. Talab, PO Kunihar, Tehsil Arki Distt Solan A/P Begum Lodge Chakkar, Shimla-5. The case is being investigated by ASI Dev Raj I.O PS West Shimla.  

2.      During last 24 hours 453 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 204 fine collected Rs. 1,15,300/-, 28 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,900/- and 02 challaned under mining Act & fine collected Rs. 8000/-. .

Crime Report on 28 April, 2018

1.    A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 28/18 Dt. 28.04.18 U/S 20,21,22,25-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Jubbal has been registered on the rukka of SI Naresh Kumar, SHO PS Jubbal alleging therein that on the intervening night of 27/28.04.2018, he alongwith staff was on Nakabandi at Hatkoti Kainchi. At about 12-05 AM, one vehicle No. HP10B-4609 (Baleno) which was coming from Jubbal side, stopped by them for checking. During the search, 41 Gram Charas, 01 Bottle Correx & 46 Tablets of Nitrazepam (Restricted Medicine)  from the possession of three persons namely Anil Kumar, Vijay Laholta & Anshul. The police has arrested the above accused and the case is being investigated by SI Naresh Kumar, SHO PS Jubbal.

2.  During last 24 hours 393 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 160 fine collected Rs. 56,900/-, 15 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,500/- .

Crime Report on 27 April, 2018

1.    AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 48/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 26-04-2018 u/s 279,337,304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Amar Singh I.O PS Rampur alleging therein that in the intervening night of 26-04-2018 one Motorcycle No. PB12P-2201 hit a bull on the road due to rash and negligent driving of Naveen Kumar. In this accident one person sustained injuries and one lady namely Anjali D/o Daulat Ram Vill. Chadeni died on the spot.

2.     AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 49/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 26-04-2018 u/s 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Umesh Chauhan S/o Sh. Lachhi Nand R/o Vill Shanathli PO Khaneri Tehsil Rampur stated therein that on 26-04-2018 he was going towards Rohru in Vehicle No. HP03T-4381 along with Jai Ram, Amar Singh and Daleep Singh. When they reached near Sharan above vehicle met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving of driverDaleep Singh. In this accident all four persons sustained injuries.

3.    AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 24/18 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 27-04-2018 u/s 279,337,304 A IPC on the statement of Sh. Ajay Kumar S/o Sh. Suresh Kumar R/o Vill Dilvi  PO Panog Tehsil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla stated therein that today at about 12-30PM he alongwith his friend Aazib S/o Sharif Vill Saari PO Hatkoti Tehsil Jubbal were going to Gumma in vehicle No. HP10-0890. At about    12-30 PM when they reached at Manewali link road Aazib lost control over the vehicle and rolled down from the road.  In this accident he sustained injuries and Aazib died on the way to Kotkhai hospital. The case is being investigated by HC Ashok Kumar I.O PS Kotkhai.

4.      AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 48 /18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 27-04-2018 u/s 279,337 IPC on the rukka of HC Bhupinder Singh I.O PP Sainj alleging therein that as Maruti Baleno No. HP71-6208 met with an accident near Kepu NH-5 due to rash and negligent driving of driver Lalit. In this accident 03 persons namely Lalit S/o Nand Lal VPO Ranran Tehsil Moorang Distt. Kinnaur, 2) Bhupinder Singh Malda S/o Sh. Narinder Singh Malda R/o VPO & Tehsil Pithaurgarh Uttarkhand and 3) Chandu Pliharia W/o Narender Singh Pakhoria R/o Vill. Khatiya Udhamsingh Nagar Uttarkhand sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Bhupinder I.O PP Sainj PS Kumarsain.

5.      During last 24 hours 261 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 170 fine collected Rs. 86,000/-, 17persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,700/- .

Crime Report on 26 April, 2018

1.     A THEFT case FIR No. 33/18 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 26-04-2018 u/s 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Surya Parkash Sharma S/o Sh. Ganga Ram C/o Sh. Mahunag brother & Co. Mohan Bhawan Bye Pass Road BCS New Shimla alleging therein that on 25-04-2018 he had parked his vehicle No. HP63-2751 ( Pick-up) in Bye pass road BCS. Today morning he found that some unknown person has stolen away his vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC Inder Singh I.O PS New Shimla.

2.    A FOREST Act case FIR No. 58/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 25-04-2018 u/s 379 IPC &32,33 Indian forest act on the complaint of Forest guard Kui beat alleging therein that some unknown person cut the one devdar tree and recovered 03 logs. The case is being investigated by HC Parmod Kumar I.O PS Rohru.

3.    AN EXCISE ACT case FIR No. 46/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 25-04-2018 u/s 39(1) HP Excise act on the rukka of ASI Ramesh Kumar I.O PS Chopal alleging therein that on 25-04-2018 he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty at Chopal Bazzar. During patrolling he intercepted one person namely Gian Singh S/o Roop Singh R/o VPO Jhokad Tehsil Kupvi Distt Shimla and recovered 18 bottles of county liquor from his possession. 4.    A THEFT case FIR No. 48/18 has been registered at PS East Shimla on 26-04-2018 u/s 379 IPC on the compliant of one lady alleging therein that in the intervening night of 25/26-04-2018 she had parked her vehicle No. HP07D-0429 (Honda City) in front of her house at Housing board Colony Strabery hill Chota Shimla. Today morning she found that some unknown person has stolen away her vehicle. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhupender Kumar I.O PS East.

1. A THEFT: Case FIR No. 47/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-East on  24.04.2018 U/S 380 IPC PS Shimla on the complaint of Sh. R.B. Lalit R/o Mukund Madhuram Parisar Lower Pathaghati, Shimla alleging therein that some unknown person has stolen away his two Mobile Phones (Jio), a Gold Chain, Lockets, Silver Plate & Glass, two Debit Cards of SBI & Cooperative Bank, HMT Watch. The case is being investigated by ASI Daleep, I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla.
2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 100/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-West on 24.04.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Suresh Kumar, I/C PP Dhami, Shimla alleging therein that on 24.04.2018 at about 05-30 PM, on the secret information, he alongwith staff conducted raid in the Daily Needs Shop of Sh. Puran Chand S/o Sh. Daya Ram R/o Village Basol PO Shakrah Tehsil & District Shimla and recovered 24 Bottles English liquor, 36 Bottles Country liquor & 24 Bottles of Beer, from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Suresh Kumar, I/C PP Dhami, Shimla.    
3. AN ACCIDENT: case FIR No. 101/18 has been registered at PS West on 25-04-2018 on the statement of Sh. Manjul Thakur S/o Sh. Sohan Lal R/o Sangam Bhawan Jaral Lower Nav Bahar Shimla stated therein that today he alongwith his mother Smt. Sunita Thakur was coming to Shimla from Sultanpur in Vehicle No. HP63D-1234. At about 02-15 PM when he reached near Aggarwal Regency Kachhi Ghati at the same time on vehicle No. HP52B-3699 came rashly and negligently and collide with his vehicle and they sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder I.O PS West.
4. During last 24 hours 397 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 130 fine collected Rs. 56,700/-, 11 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,100/- and 06 challaned under Mining Act.

AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 74/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 23.04.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Krishan Lal, I/C PP Mashobra, Shimla alleging therein that on 23.04.2018 at about 08-30 PM, on the secret information he alongwith staff conducted raid in the Chicken Khokha of Mahender Singh S/o  Lt. Sh. Sunder Singh R/o Village Panjog PO Mashobra Tehsil & District Shimla, age 42 years and recovered 24 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Una No.-1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Krishan Lal, I/C PP Mashobra.

AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 46/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-East on 23.04.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Daleep Chand I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla alleging therein that on 23.04.2018 at about 04-45 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff near Shiv Mandir at Lower Panthaghati, one persons namely Bihari Lal S/o Sh. Bela Ram R/o Village Langehar PO Baroti PS Dharampur Tehsil Sarkaghat, District Mandi, age 37 years A/P Dhara/Dhaba at Lower Panthaghati, Shimla apprehended by them alongwith 12 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Una No.-1. The case is being investigated by ASI Daleep Chand, I/O PP Kasumpti.   
3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 57/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 23.04.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunil Gupta S/o Sh. Ram Dass Gupta R/o Retka Niwas, near Animal Husbandry, Rohru, Shimla  alleging therein that on 23.04.2018 at about 10-18 PM, one Motorcycle No. HP10A-7535 driven by Prithvi Raj came rashly with negligent driving and hit with Nano Car No. HP10A-3144, caused sustained injuries to 05 Persons. The case is being investigated by HC Amit Kumar, I/O PP City Rohru.  
4. During last 24 hours 359 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 165 fine collected Rs. 78,900/-, 14 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,400/- and 04 challaned under Mining Act & Fine Realized Rs. 40,000/-.

Bhau Ram VPO Taklech Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla & Sunil Kumar S/O Lt. Sh. Daulat Ram Village Dumrera Tehsil Chirgaon Distt Shimla carrying in Vehicle No. HP62-2429 B/Camper. The case is being investigated by self SI/SHO.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 45/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-East on 22.04.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Rahul Rangra S/o Sh. Rakesh Kumar R/o Village Kariyali PO Srahkad Tehsil & District Hamirpur alleging therein that on 22.04.2018, he was coming to his room at Lakkar Bazar from GSSS Chhota Shimla on foot. At about 04-36 PM, when he reached at Tibetan School Chhota Shimla, at the same time one vehicle came rashly in wrong direction from Kasumpti Side and after hitting him run away from the spot, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by SI Biri Singh, I/O PS East.

AN ASSAULT OR CRIMINAL FORCE TO DETER PUBLIC SERVANT FROM DISCHARGE OF HIS DUTY: Case FIR No.41/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon today on 23.04.2018 U/S 353 341 506 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Satish Kumar S/o Sh. Tek Chand R/o Village & PO Naganpatt Tehsil Dharamshala, District Kangra, HP A/P deputed as driver in HRTC Rohru Depot stated therein that on 22.04.2018, he was on route duty from Chirgaon to Tanganu in HRTC Bus No. HP10B-7637, but due to non availability of staying arrangements at Tanganu, he alongwith bus conductor Manish Kumar coming to Dhamwadi in above Bus. On the way, Sh. Birban (Pradhan) met him at Amlatu (Deudi) and stay for a night in his house. Today on 23.04.2018 at about 07-45 AM, when he was going towards Chirgaon alongwith passengers, on the way near Dabriteer, a Pick-Up and obstructed his way by stopped Pick-Up in front  of his Bus. 3/4 persons, two of them were Anup Kumar & Pramod Kumar, came out from above Pick-up and started to scuffle with him. They have also beaten him brutally during performing his govt. duty and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Pawan Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.
4. During last 24 hours 313 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 119 fine collected Rs. 52,700/-, 09 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 900/- .

Court. 

2.  Accused  Irfan S/O Sh. Nasru R/o Mohalla Sahajmal, PS Kithor, Distt Mearut, UP age 23 arrested in Case FIR No. 221/16 Dt. 27.08.2016 U/S 457 380 411 34 IPC at PS Sadar Shimla, today remanded in judicial custody for 14 days by the Ld. Court.

Ram Babu Mourya R/O Goal Pahari Maharajbad PS Janak Ganj Tehsil Gwalior M.P. arrested  in Case FIR No. 94/18 Dt. 18.04.2018 U/S  323, 452, 354, 376, 506 IPC  PS West Shimla on dated 22.02.2018 at PS West, is remanded in police custody upto 27.04.2018, by the Ld. Court.

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 98/18 has been registered at PS West on 22.04.2018 U/S 279 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Lekh Raj Verma S/o Sh. Moti Ram R/o Vill. Saijdi, PO Sainj, Tehsil Sunni, Distt Shimla presently SO Advance Study Shimla stated therein that on dated 21.04.2018 at about 11.30 PM when he reached near Rain Shelter Summerhill in his own Maruti car 800 No. HP-17C-9944, a swift Car No. HP 26B-2143 in which four boys were sitting come rashly and hit his above car and driver Shivakar Negi run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Manoj Kumar I/O PP Summerhill, PS West, Shimla.        
2. A Cheating: Case FIR No. 24/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon  today on 22.04.2018 U/S 420, 467,468, 471 IPC on the complaint of Divisional Incharge (DO) Shimla The New India Assurance Company ltd. 3^rd Floor, Block 7, SDA Complex Kasumpti, SHimla-9 alleging therein that one Sh. Kamal Kumar S/o Sh. Barket Ram Nagpal R/o G-1/1392, Block G-1, Daimin Road Uttam Nagar, New Delhi has filed fake & forged insurance of his vehicle No. DL-1GC-2621 for the accidental claim which was involved in accident case registered on 01.10.2014 at PS Chirgaong, in the Ld court. The case is being investigated by HC Jagat Ram I/O PS Chirgaong.

Crime Report on April 21, 2018

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 56/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on  20.04.2018 U/S 22,27-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Rohru on the ASI Vishesh Kumar, I/O PP City Rohru alleging therein that on 20.04.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff, three persons namely Arvind Chauhan S/o Sh. Bihari Lal R/o Village Dhanoti PO Samra, Sahil Chauhan S/o Sh. Pritam Chauhan R/o Village Dhanoti PO Samra & Saurabh Chauhan S/o Sh. Prem Pal R/o Village  & PO Dharara Tehsil Rohru Shimla, intercepted by them near Easy Point Shop at Upper Bazar Rohru and during the search, 370 Mg. Heroin (Chitta) recovered from their possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Vishesh Kumar, I/O PP City Rohru.
2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 40/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 20.04.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Bir Singh, I/O PS Jhakri alleging therein that on 20.04.2018 at about 06-30 PM, during patrolling/traffic checking, 08 Boxes of Beer have been recovered from the possession of Hira Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Deva Sukh R/o Village Badhal PO Jeori Tehsil Rampur, Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Bir Singh, I/O PS Jhakri.
3. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 73/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 21.04.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Luder Singh, I/C SIU, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 20/21.04.2018 at about 02-30 AM, on the secret information, he alongwith staff conducted raid in the rented room of Sh. Vijay Singh C/o Sh. Ashok Kumar @ Shoki R/o Satguru Building Dhalli  and recovered 66 Bottles & 67 Halves of illicit English liquor marka Royal Stag from his possession. The  case is being investigated by SI Luder Singh, I/C SIU Shimla.
4. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 24/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 21.04.2018 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Yash Pal S/o Sh. Chaman Singh R/o Village Khubyar PO Ranahat PS Shillai District Sirmaur alleging therein that today on 21.04.2018 at about 02-15 AM, one Maruti Car No. UA07L-6478, which was on the way from Dayandali to Nerwa, met with an accident near Dayandali Nalah & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Nand Lal. In this accident, two persons namely  Het Ram S/o Sh. Baru Ram R/o Village & PO Kulag Tehsil Kupvi District Shimla, age 18 years &  Nand Lal (Driver) S/o Sh. Kewal Ram R/o Village Chaflan PO Dhabhas Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 27 years, died on the spot and two persons namely Ram Lal S/o Sh. Kewal Ram R/o Village Chaflan PO Dhabhas Tehsil Chopal, District Shimla, age 27 years & Yashpal S/o Sh. Chanan Singh R/o Village Khubyad PO Rohnat Tehsil Shillai District Sirmaur, age 26 years sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Nerwa.       
5. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 46/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 20.04.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vikram  Sharma  S/O Sh. Ram Lal R/o Village Kumsu PO Nogli Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP stated  therein that on 20.04.2018 at about 10.30 AM, one Car No HP07-2649 hit a M/Cycle No HP 06-2725 at Bazir Bawari, due to rash & negligent driving of Car driver Satish Kumar S/O Sh. Kishan Chand Village & PO Badhan Tehsil Bangana Distt. Una HP and met with as accident. In this accident, Naresh Kumar Sustained injury. The case in being investigating by HC Kuldeep I/O PS Rampur.
6. A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 22/18 has been registered at PS Kotkhai  today on 21.04.2018 U/S 457 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Bhanu Pratap Singh S/o Sh. Kanwar Gopal Pratap Singh R/o Village Darbar near DAV College Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 17.04.2018, he alongwith family went to attend the marriage at Panchkula. On 21.04.2018, when they came back and found that  some unknown person has broken the door lock of his house and stolen away his gold jewelry & one LCD. The case is being investigated by SI Paramjeet Singh Saini, SHO PS Kotkhai.    
7. During last 24 hours 276 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 126 fine collected Rs. 60,100/-, 08 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 800/- and 05 Challaned under Mining Act & Fine Realized Rs. 15,000/-.
