Crime Report on Feb. 19, 2018

1.    An Excise Act case FIR No. 27/18 Dated 18.02.18 U/S 39(1)A HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Kumarsain on the rukka of ASI Vijay Kumar I/O PS Kumarsain alleging therein that on 18-02-2018 he was on patrolling duty alongwith staff. During patrolling he intercepted one person namely Baldev Negi S/o Sh. Chadam Negi  VPO Chigaon Tehsil Nichaar Distt. Kinnaur HP & recovered 43 Bottles of country liquor Marka Una No.1 at Khekkar near Sainj during patrolling. The case is being investigated by ASI Vijay Kumr I.O PS Kumarsain.

2.    An ND&PS Act case FIR No. 32/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 19-02-2018 u/s 18 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Rajinder Kumar I.O PS Dhalli alleging therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Mashobra bifurcation. During patrolling one person namely Hemant Bohra S/o Sh. Gangar Ram Bohra R/o Vill Shivan PO Chokha Distt Jajar Kot Nepal aged 37 years intercepted by them and recovered 1.24 Kg. opium from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajinder Kumar I.O. PS Dhalli.

3.    An ND&PS Act case FIR No. 22/18 dated 19.02.18 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered at PS Rohru on the rukka of HC Ashish Kumar I/O PS Rohru alleging that today at about 12-00 noon he along with staff was on patrolling duty toward Seema. During patrolling he intercepted one person namely Ashok Kumar S/O Sh. Diwan Singh R/O Vill. Koti PO Pujarli No. 4 Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla and recovered 370 gm Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Ashish Kumar I/O PS Rohru.

4.    A Theft case FIR No. 19/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri today on 19-02-2018 on the statement of Sh. Partap Singh B.O. Forest Department Jeori Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla alleging therein that today he alongwith staff was on Naka duty near veterinary at Ganvi road. During patrolling he checked Vehicle No. HP63B-0368 (Tata 407) and recovered 35 slipper of Devdar and 05 Kayal. Subsequently he checked vehicle No. HP06A-3426 (Bolero Camper) and recovered 21 slipper of Kayal & 02 of Rai. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar I.O PP Jeori, PS Jhakri.

5.    An Accident case FIR No. 43/18 has been registered at PS West today on 19-02-2018 u/s 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ram Chand R/o Vill Rapda PO Kalihatti Tehsil &  Distt. Shimla stated therein that today he was going to Ripon hospital Shimla in his vehicle No. HP35-1595. When he reached near  Power house at the same time one HRTC Bus came rashly and negligently and hit his vehicle from back side due to which his vehicle uncontrolled and collide with another Bus No. HP69A-2036. In this accident he and his sister sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh I.O PS West.

6.    A Negligent conduct with respect to animal  case FIR No. 28/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 19-02-18 U/S 289 IPC on the complaint of Dhansukh  S/o Lt Sh Hari Ram R/o Vill Chatti PO Jarol Tehsil Kumarsain alleging therein that today at about 8-000AM  when he was going for morning walk, on the way the dog of Mohan Lal Dharma S/o Sh Daulat Ram R/o same viilage  bite him and he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by  HC Sushil Kumar PS Kumarsain.

7.    During last 24 hours 515 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 257, fine realized Rs. 75,000/- and 11 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1200/-

1.    Accused Amar Kumar S/o Lok Nath R/o A-441/13, Gali No.-13, Part-III Zero pusta, Sonia Bihar Delhi-94 age-36 years arrested in case FIR No. 23/18 dated 06-02-2018 u/s 420 IPC at PS Theog remanded in Police Custody upto 20-02-2018

2.    Accused Arjun S/o Tilak Bhadur R/o Gainghat odda No-03 Distt. Udaypur Aanchal Sagar mat Nepal age 35 years arrested in case FIR No. 08/18 dated 15-02-2018 u/s 307, 323 IPC at PS Kotkhai remanded in Judicial Custody by the Ld. Court.

3.     Accused Hemant Bohra S/o Sh. Gangar Ram Bohra R/o Vill Shivan PO Chokha Distt Jajar Kot Nepal aged 37 years arrested in case FIR No. 32/18 dated 19-02-2018 u/s 18 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli is being produced before Ld. Court.

4.    Accused Ashok Kumar S/O Sh. Diwan Singh R/O Vill. Koti PO Pujarli No. 4 Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 22/18 dated 19-02-2018 u/s 20-61-85 ND&PS Act is being produced before Ld. Court.
