An ND&PS Act case FIR No. 23/18 Dt.
17.02.18 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Sadar has been registered on the
rukka of HC Shiv Dev No. 962, I/O PS Sadar alleging therein that on 17.02.2018
at about 08-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Vikas
Chauhan S/o Sh. Jagdish Chauhan R/o Gagana PO Chambi Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age
27 years intercepted by them near Subji Mandi Ground, Shimla and recovered 56
Gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Shiv
Dev No. 962, I/O PS Sadar.

An ND&PS Act case FIR No.
25/18 Dt. 17.02.18 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Kumarsain has been
registered on the rukka of HC Rajesh Kumar No. 34, I/O PS Kumarsain alleging
therein that 17.02.2018 at about 07-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff on
National Highway, one person namely Amar Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Roop Lal R/o Village
Gharoli PO Nithar Sub-Tehsil Nithar District Kullu, HP intercepted by them at
Ghorna Nalah near Sainj and recovered 4 Gram Opium from his possession. The
case is being investigated by HC Rajesh Kumar I/O PS Kumarsain.

A Burglary case FIR No. 42/18 has been
registered at PS West on 17-02-2018 u/s 454,380 IPC on the complaint of
Smt. Geeta Devi W/o Sh. Rakesh Kumar R/o Amar Lal Building, Khatik Mohalla,
Totu Shimla alleging therein that on 16-02-2018 she kept Gold Jewellary & Rs.
40,000/- inside the bed box into the trunk. On 17-02-2018 he found that some
unknown person has broken the lock of trunk and stolen away above cash &
Jewellary.

A Forest Act case FIR No. 09/18 has been
registered at PS Nankhari on 17-02-2018 u/s 379 IPC & 32,33 Indian
Forest Act on the complaint of Sh. Sohan Sharma Range Officer forest Range
Nankhari alleging therein that on 14-02-2018 at about 07-00 AM Jai Kishan S/o
Sh. Govind Singh had cut the Seven Cedar
(Devdaar) trees in Khamoti Forest near Sholi Village. The case is being
investigated by ASI Chaman Lal I.O PS Nankhari.

A Mischief by fire or explosive substance
with intent to destroy house case FIR No. 18/18 has been registered
at PS Rampur on 17-02-2018 u/s 436 IPC on the complaint of Vaseem S/o
Sh. Jawahar Husain R/o VPO Kawal Tehsil Jansath Distt. Muzafar Nagar UP A/P r/o
Vill. Nogli Tehsil Rampur alleging therein that he is doing business of selling
blanket. On 17-02-2018 at about 09-00 AM Savez S/o Munasf intentionally put the fire in his quarter and
burnt the blankets. The case is being investigated by ASI Amer Singh I.O PS Rampur.

An Accident case FIR No. 09/18 has been
registered at PS Kotkhai today on 18-02-2018 u/s 279,304A IPC on the
statement of Sh. Lalit Chauhan S/o Sh. Partap Singh Chauhan R/o Vill Dhalli PO Kiari
Tehsil Kotkahi Distt Shimla stated therein that today one vehicle No. HP
09C-5167 alto car met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving of
driver Khem Lal S/o Sh. Lali Ram R/o Vill Galodi PO Deori Kheneti Tehsil
Kotkhai. In this accident driver Khem
Lal and Neenu Pal died on the spot and Banu Lal, Rama Nand and Sushma w/o Banu
Lal sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Ravinder I.O PS
Kotkhai.

During
last 24 hours 849 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded=
634, fine realized Rs. 1,32,300/- and 17 persons challaned
under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1800/-
