Crime Report on July 27, 2017

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 79/17 has been registgered at PS Kumarsain on 26.07.2017 U/S 39(1) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Devi Ram I/O PS Kumarsain alleging therein that on 26.07.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, he recovered 07 bottels of illicit country liquor marka santra from the possession of Bhupinder Singh  S/o Sh. Kirpal R/o Village Bhagwanpur PO Tajpur Lamda Tehsil & Distt. Jalander Punjab a/p running a dhaba at Barubhag. The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Ram I/O PS Kumarsain.

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 133/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 26.07.2017 U/S 279 304A IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Neem Bahadur S/o Sh. Setu Oli R/o Village Kuvepani PO Kot Mohalla Tehsil Vania, Distt.  alleging therein that on 26.07.2017 at about 11-00 AM, he alongwith Rajan coming towards Totu from Dainda in Pick-Up.  At Totu Chowk, when Rajan was getting off from the Pick-Up, suddenly driver negligently drive the pick-up and Rajan fell down on the road and died on the way to IGMC Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Lal, I/O PP Jutogh.

3.    A RIOTING: Case FIR No 126/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 27.07.2017 U/S 341,323, 147,148,149,506 IPC has been registered on the statement of Sh. Bhagat Negi S/O Sh. Jiya Lal Negi  R/o Village & PO Tapri Tehsil Nichar Distt Kinnaur HP alleging therein that today on 27.07.2017 at about 04.30AM, when he was present on NH-05 near Talai Nogli, at the same time Chaten Chauhan, Pinku Chauhan alongwith 4  other persons came there, restrained his way and beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Garib Dass I/O PS Rampur Bsr.

4.    During last 24 hours 272 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 157 & fine realized Rs. 54,200/- and 16 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,800/-.
