Crime Report on July 10, 2017

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 121/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 09.07.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of Insp. Gauri Dutt Sharma, SHO PS Shimla West stated therein that on 09.07.2017 at about 05-00 PM, on the secret information, he alongwith staff conducted raid in the Daily Needs Shop at Haridevi of Chet Ram S/o Sh. Nanda Ram R/o Village Haridevi, PO Gannahatti, Shimla and recovered 18 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No. 1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by Insp. Gauri Dutt Sharma, SHO PS Shimla West.

2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 122/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 09.07.2017 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Rajender Sharma S/o Sh. Lt. Sh. Diwakar Sharma R/o Village Bhako, PO Rauri, Distt. Shimla, age 55 years stated therein that on 09.07.2017 at about 01-00 PM, one vehicle No. HP51A-2111(Alto Car) met with an accident near village Bhako & rolled down 500 meter from the road. In this accident, one person namely Om Prakash S/o Sh. Diwakar Dutt has been died on the way to IGMC and two persons namely Yogesh & Jai Dev sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Manoj Kumar, I/O PP Jutogh. 

3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 115/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 09.07.2017 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Mahender Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Gurdass R/o Village Jutdhar PO Narain Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 09.07.2017 at about 03-00 PM, one vehicle No. HP06A-6572 (Bolero Camper) met with an accident and rolled down from the Bashri road into Dole Nala near Kurnu, due to rash & negligent driving of Ramesh war Singh. In this accident, two persons namely Rameshwar & Smt. Ochhi Devi W/o Lt. Sh. Bhagwan Dass died on the spot and one person namely Jai Singh sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Singh, I/C PP Taklech (Rampur)   

4. During last 24 hours 171 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 68 & fine realized Rs. 47,800/- and 32 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,200/-. 

   INQUEST REPORT

1. Deceased  Kheema W/o Sh. Pramod Nepali R/o Village Donrikara PO Khalanga District Jhajarkot Anchal Bheri Nepal, age 20 years committed suicide by hanging herself with tree in the forest near village Dhauda, in the jurisdiction of PS Nankhari. The dead body is shifted to CH Nankhari for further legal proceeding.  

   FOLLOW-UP:   

1. Accused Anil Banwasi S/o Sh. Kulai Banwasi R/O Village Amar Tofir PO Bada Gaon Tehsil Nizamabad UP A/P Rohru age 21 years arrested in case FIR No 75/17 on Dt. 08.07.2017 U/S 379 IPC & 25 Indian Telegraph Act at PS Rohru, today remanded in judicial custody upto 19.07.2017, by the Ld. Court.  

2. Accused i) Virender, S/o Sh. Hari Ram, R/o Village Nanhar, P/O Chambi, Tehsil Chopal and (ii) Sukh Ram, S/o Sh. Moti Ram, R/o Pabas, P/o Dewat Tehsil Chopal, arrested in case FIR No. 36/17 Dt. 09.07.2017 U/S U/S 39 (1)(a) HP Excise Act at PS Chopal, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.
