Crime Report on July 26, 2017

1.  AN EXCISE: Case FIR No. 95/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 25.07.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act  on the rukka of ASI Gopinder I/O PS East Shimla alleging therein that on 25.07.2017 at about 07.45 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff at Kanlog, one person namely Rajesh Kumar S/O Sita Ram R/O Nehra P.O Rajhana New Shimla apprehended by them alongwith 12 Bottles of illicit Country liquor.  The case is being investigated by ASI Gopinder I/O PS East Shimla .

2.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 46/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 26.07.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Pyare Lal S/o Sh. Mirju Ram R/o Village Nakradi Tehsil Jubbal Distt. Shimla stated therein that today on 26.07.2017 at about 12.45 AM, he was coming from Dhalli in vehicle No. HP64-8247 driven by Gopal Singh, in c/w  to sell his apple and pear. When they reached near Sundli Naala, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Gopal Singh  and rolled down from the road. Thereafter driver Gopal run away from the spot.  In this accident he sustained injuries.  The case is being investigated by HC Ashwani, I/O PS Jubbal

3.  A MURDER: Case FIR No. 62/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 25.07.2017 U/S 302 34 IPC on the statement of Smt. Kamala Devi W/o Lt. Sh. Gopal Singh Kashyap R/o Village & PO Fancha Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 20.07.2017, two persons namely Ramesh Kumar & Mohan Lal both are the resident of Village Fancha have murdered her husband. The case is being investigated by ASI Vidya Sagar, I/C PP Jeori.

4.  USED CRIMINAL FORCE TO  DETER PUBLIC SERVANT DISCHARGE HIS DUTY: Case FIR No. 63/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri today on 26.07.2017 U/S 353 332 34 IPC on the application of  Sh Sunil Kumar S/O Sh Jagdish Chand  R/O Village & PO Bradta Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi  at present Driver in  HRTC Depot  Rampur Bushahr Distt  Shimla HP  alleging therein that  on  26.07.2017,  he was on route duty from Labana  Sadana via  Mashnoo  Gaura with Bus No. with Bus No HP06A -7520.  At about 06-15 PM, when he parked his bus  on road side due to road blockage near village Talara. at the same time a person namely Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Shyam Lal R/O Village & PO Kinno along with his friend came there and asked him to remove the Bus. Thereafter they started to quarrel with him during performing his govt. duty and beaten him brutally. The case is being investigating by HC Ram Lal, I/O PP Sarhan.

5.  During last 24 hours 535 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 329 & fine realized Rs. 42,100/- and 45 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 4,700/-.
