Crime Report on Sept. 20, 2016

1. A Forest Act  case FIR No. 118/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 19.09.2016 U/S 447 IPC & 32,33 IF Act on the application of Sh. Tula Ram, Forest Range Officer, Kotgarh stated therein that five persons namely  Mangat Ram S/o Sh. Thisu Ram R/o Village Kot, PO Shilaroo, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, Budhi Ram S/o Sh. Ruldu  R/o Village Patmani Mahal, Chet Ram S/o Sh. Jaggi Ram R/o village Kot, PO Shillaroo, Gian Chand S/o Sh. Bali Ram R/o Village Latiyana, PO Shillaroo and Sh. Atma Ram S/o Sh. Mani Ram Ro Village Manan have illegally enchroched about 10 bighas or more forest land & planted apples plants on this land.

2. A Theft  case FIR No. 160/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 19.09.2016 U/S 323 382 506 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Suman Kumar S/o Sh. Rattan R/o Rattan Niwas, Lower Cemetery Sanjauli, Shimla stated therein that he was coming to Dhalli from Chunjar in his Pick-Up No. HP-63-3721 loaded with apple boxes. At about 12-30AM, when he reached near Gajedi Bypass, at the same time two unknown persons came there, beaten him brutally and taken away his vehicle alongwith apple boxes. The case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand, I/O PS Theog.   

3. An Accident case FIR No. 248/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 19.09.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the complaint of Sh. Devinder Kaith R/o Kaith Niwas Lower Kangnadhar, Phase-III, New Shimla stated therein that on 19.09.2016, after droping his son at Ganj Bazar when he reached at Himland, his son Sharad Kaith told him that a vehicle No. HP-63-3969 came rashly, hit him & run away from the spot, cause sustained injury to him. The case is being investigated by HC Sunil, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.    

4. During last 24 hours 471 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 181 & fine realized Rs. 55,000/-, 61 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 6,300/- and 02 challaned Under Mining Act.

Follow Up :-

1. Accused (1) Sushil Kumar S/O Daulat Ram R/O VPO Jharag Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla age 41 years and (2) Ravi Kumar S/O Sh. Bhag Singh R/O Vill. Bahal Arjun PO Chakyo Tehsil Badsar Distt. Hamirpur Age 31 years has been arrested by police and recovered 40 ltr. Diesel from their possession in case FIR No48/16 dated 17-09-2016 U/s 379 IPC  PS Jubbal, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused Segtu Ram, age 24 years & Megtu Ram, age 26 years (Both) sons of Sh. Tulsi Ram R/o Village Kasha, PO Kashapat, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 178/16 Dt. 17.09.16 U/S 452, 323, 376D, 506 IPC at PS Rampur, are on police remand upto 23.09.2016.  

3. Accused Sher Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Doomnu Ram R/o Village & PO Kinoo, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla,  arrested in case FIR No. 112/16 Dt. 18.09.2016 U/S 379 279 IPC at PS New Shimla, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.
