Crime Report on Sept. 10, 2016

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 154/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 09.09.2016 U/S 18,20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Rajender Singh, Addl. SHO PS Theog stated therein that on 09.09.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Devi More,  Laphughati, Sunarghati etc. At about 04-15 PM, when they reached at Sunarghati, on the secret information he searched the shop of Jitender Kumar S/o Sh. Ishwar Dutt R/o Village Kathal, PO Sandhu, Tehsil Theog, Shimla A/p running a Shop "Sharma General Store" at Sandhu and recovered 30 gram charas & 8 gram opium from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Rajender Singh, Addl. SHO PS Theog.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 56/16 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 10.09.2016 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Rajinder Singh S/o Sh. Hari Ram R/o Village Kujvi, PO Matal Tehsil Chopal, Shimla stated therein that on 09.09.2016 at about 10-45 PM, one Pick No. HP-08A-1940 loaded with apple boxes, met with an accident near Barog Nala & rolled down from the road into Lohana Khad, due to rash & negligent driving of Masoom S/o Sh. Isha R/o Shamtha, PO Irra, Chopal, age 18 years. In this accident, driver Masoom died on the spot and Raju Kanta R/o Village Piplah PS Nerwa sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Daleep Singh, I/O PS Chopal.  

3. An Accident case FIR No. 85/16 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 10.09.2016 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Vinay S/o Sh. Kailash Chand R/O Vill. Gumna PO Dodra Tehsil & PS Chirgaon Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that today at about 01-00 PM, one Rovin Thakur, student of B.Sc 1^st Semester  in Govt. College Seema came rashly in his M/Cycle and hit with College gate, caused sustained injuries on his head and died during treatment in CH Rohru. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Nain I/O PS Rohru.

4. A House Trespass case FIR No 46/16 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 10.09.2016 U/S 452,323,504,506 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Indra Devi W/o Sh. Narender Singh R/O Vill. Kelvi PO Barthata Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla alleging that on 09.09.2016 at about 11.30AM, one person namely Goverdhan Singh S/O Sh. Dhanjew R/O Vill. Kelvi PO Barthata Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla Goverdhan entered in her kitchen/room, abused and beaten her brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Rafee Mohamad, I/O PS Jubbal.

5. A Cheating with knowledge that wrongful loss may ensue to person whose interest case FIR No. 95/16 has been registered at PS East on 09.09.2016 U/S 417, 418 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Smt. Sheetal C/o Himta Niwas, near FCI Kamla Nagar, Sanjauli Shimla stated therein that on 26.05.2016, his wife was hospitalized in KNH Shimla due to her pregnancy. Ward Aaya told her that she blessed with male baby but after some time female child handover to her. After DNA/garneting Test report received  from SFSL Junga, it is cleared that she is not out daughter. The hospital staff has changed his male baby with female and cheated him. The case is being ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS East.  

6. A Theft case FIR No. 218/16 has been registered at PS West today on 10.09.2016 U/S 379 IPC has been registered on the application of Sh. Saurabh Sharma S/o Sh. Lalipu Lekh R/o Sharma Niwas, Green Valley, Dainda, Totu, Shimla  stated therein that on the intervening night of 07/08.09.2016, some unknown person has stolen away his Maruti Car No. HP-63C-1442 bearing Engine No. F8BIN2894948 & Chassis No. MA3ECA12S002463548, parked on the roadside near Dainda, Totu Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PP Jutogh.

7. During last 24 hours 418 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 189 & fine realized Rs. 63,200/- & 83 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 8,700/-  

Follow Up:-

1. Accused Manoj Kumar S/o Sh. Kuldeep Singh R/o Village & PO Nayabas, Tehsil Sanpala, Distt. Rohtak, Haryana, age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 55/15 Dt. 23.06.2015 U/S 420 468 471 IPC at PS Rohru, today released on bail by the Trial court.

2. Accused Sanjay Singh S/o Sh. Ram Saran R/o 309/1, Sikh Line Krishna Nagar, age 28 years arrested in case FIR No. 233/16 Dt. 05.09.16 U/S 363 366A 376 IPC & 4 POCSO Act at PS Sadar, is being produced before Ld. Court today.

3. Accused Naresh Sharma S/o Sh. Keshav Ram R/o Village & PO Karyali, Tehsil & PS Sunni, Shimla, age 27 years, arrested in case FIR No. 29/16 Dt. 10.02.2016 U/S 457 IPC at PS Sadar, will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.
