- Resistance by a person to his lawful apprehension case FIR No. 239/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 07.019.2016 U/S 224 IPC on the report of HC Ramesh A/P Posted at 6th IRBn Kolar, Shimla stated therein that on 07.09.2016, he alongwith Const. Rajesh Kumar brought prisoner Pawan Kuamr S/o Sh. Babu Ram R/o Village Bathra, PO Bathu, PS Dehra, Distt. Kangra to Psychiatry Deptt. IGMC Shimla from Kanda Jail for treatment, who absconded from their lawful custody. The case is being investigated by ASI Virender Singh, I/O PS Sadar.
- Used criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty case FIR No 55/16 has been registered at PS Chopal on 08.09.2016 U/S 353,332 IPC on the application of Sh. Nitish Kumar Bhardwaj A/P Junior Engineer at Shallu, PWD Sub-Division Nerwa alleging therein that today at about 10.42 AM, when he came to the O/o Executive Engineer, HP PWD at Chopal in c/w official work, where Contractor Sandeep Kumar Diwan, misbehaved and beaten him brutally during duty hours. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram gopal I/O P.S Chopal
- A Theft case FIR No. 238/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 07.09.2016 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Er. Sudhir Gupta A/P Executive Engineer, (R&B), MC Shimla stated therein that some unknown person has stolen away Battery of Solar Light, installed by HIMURJA at Kuftadhar, Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Raj Pal, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.
- During last 24 hours 397 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 174 & fine realized Rs. 59,200/- & 74 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 8,200/-

Accused Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Amar Singh R/o Village Kandal, PO Tikkeri, Tehsil Chopal, age 23 years, arrested in case FIR No. 232/16 Dt. 05.09.16 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, is on police remand upto 08.09.2016.
