A Gambling Act case FIR No 162/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 26.09.2016 U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act on the rukka of ASI Purushotam Chand I/O PS Theog alleging therein that today on 26.09.2016 he along with staff was on patrolling and got secret information regarding gambling. Based on the information he raided at the quarter of Pardeep Kumar S/o Sh Moti Ram village Mohori P/o Mahori Tehsil Theog Distt Shimla and recovered Rs 97500/- from the possession of seven persons who were playing gambling with cards. The case is being investigated by ASI Purushotam Chand I/O PS Theog.
During last 24 hours 473 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 350 & fine realized Rs. 81,300/-, 29 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,300/-
Inquest Report
Deceased Ravinder Kumar S/o Sh Rajpal R/o Pakhana P/o Dayal Pur Tesil Trivadi Karnal Haryana died on 25.09.2016 near Subzi Mandi Shimla. Near Subzi Mandi he felt down on stairs and died on the spot. Postmortem conducted at IGMC Shimla and proceeding U/S 174 is being conducted at PS Sadar. Dead body of Deceased handed over to his relatives
