Crime Report on July 14, 2016

1. An  Accident case FIR No. 113/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 13.07.2016 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Balbir Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Joginder Singh R/o Village Swala, PO Mahasu, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 13.07.2016, he was going to Shimla in his Pick-Up No. HP-52-3986. One Maruti Car No. HP-09C-1697 was also on the way ahead his vehicle. When they reached  near Khol Galli, above car met with an accident & rolled down 600 feet from the road. In this accident two persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Sunil Kumar, I/O PS Theog.
2. A Wrongful Restraint & Criminal Intimidation case FIR No. 114/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 13.07.2016 U/S 341 323 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ram Krishan S/o Lt. Sh. Sunder Lal R/o Village Dehna, PO Cheog, Tehsil & PS Theog, Shimla stated therein that 13.07.2016 at about 07-45 PM, he alongwith Narayan Singh & Dinesh taking tea in the Hotel at Cheog.  In between, Ram Krishan S/o Sh. Anant Ram R/o Village Cheog came there, beaten him brutally & threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Singh, I/C PP Fagu.   
3. An Accident case FIR No. 177/16 has been registered at PS West on 14.07.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ashok Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Om Prakash R/o Village & PO Ghandla, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 62 years stated therein that on 13.07.2016 at about 09-30PM, one vehicle No. HP-63-5107 Alto Car met with an accident & rolled down 300 feet from the road due to rash & negligent driving of  Manu R/o Shakrah, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Yog Raj, I/O PP Dhami.
4. During last 24 hours 393 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 202 & fine realized Rs. 66,600/- and 51 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,900/-

Follow Up

1. Accused Sonu S/O Sh. Jeet Singh R/O Ward No. 2 Paddi Road Near Anaj Mandi Balachour Tehsil & PS Balachour Distt. Nawanshahar Punjab A/P Near Funeral Home Rohru Distt. Shimla HP age 26 years has been arrested on 10.07.2016 in case FIR No. 63/16 Dated 10.07.2016 U/S 376 IPC & 4 POCSO at PS Rorhu, today sent to judicial remand upto 22.07.2016 by the Trial Court.

2. Accused Karan Deep Verma S/o Sh.Kuldeep Kumar R/o S/221/148 Gali No 4-5 Vishnu Garden New Delhi at present 50/51 Second Floor Poker-2 Rohini Sec-25 New Delhi age 26 arrested in case FIR No 372/15 U/S 420,120 B IPC at  PS Dhalli, is further on Police Remand up to 15.07.2016.

3. Accused i) Aman Thakur S/O Sh. Nek Ram Thakur R/O House No. 59 Sher Clinic Near Distt. Court Ward No. 13 Solan P.S. & Distt. Solan HP  Age 21 Yrs & ii) Sagar Thakur S/O Sh. Ranveer Thakur R/O Village Jadol P.O. Taproli Tehsil & P.S. Rajgarh Distt. Sirmour HP, arrested in case FIR No. 07/16 Dt. 11.01.2016 U/S 379 IPC at PS West, are on Police remand upto 15.07.2016.

4. Proclaimed Offender Mohd. Shareef S/o Mohd. Guljar R/o Village Koti Chamdhar, PO Surjan Chalog, Tehsil Bani, Distt. Kathua, J&K has been arrested in case FIR No. 107/11 U/S 454 380 511 IPC at PS Kotkhai. He is remanded in judicial custody for 01 day by the Trial court.
