Crime Report on July 05, 2016

1. A Cheating case FIR No 146/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 04.07.2016 U/S 420 IPC on the statement of Smt. Anita Chaudhary D/o Sh Mandesh Chauhan R/o VPO Kamyana Tehsil and Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 22.06.2016 she received a call from telephone No 07827179360 and a person told him that she has a courier from Landon and deposited amounting to Rs. 18500/- to release the couriers. On this, she deposited the above amount in account No 35710880249. After that she again received calls in different dates and she deposited  total amount of Rs. 3,18,500/-, but she did not get any courier till now. She doubts that some unknown person has cheated her. The case is being investigated by SI Rajneesh I/C PP Lakkar Bazar.
2. A Cheating case FIR No. 77/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 05.07.2016 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Meera Kaushal R/o Village & PO Narkanda, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that she received a call from unknown person, who told her that he is working in RTGS Company and promised with her for the delivery of gold/diamond ornaments. After that she received a call from various Banks i.e. Ms. Puja Kumari (Central Bank of India), Mr. Anurag Kumar (Bank of India) and Nutan from Bank of Baroda to deposit the amount in various accounts for getting the above ornaments. On this, she deposited Rs. 11 lacs, but not received any ornaments till now. The case  is being investigated by ASI Brij Lal, I/C PP Narkanda.
3. During last 24 hours 528 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 232 & fine realized Rs. 80,200/- and 33 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs 3450/-

Inquest Reports

1. Deceased Smt. Rekha W/O Sh. Harban R/O Bhamnoli PO Summerkot Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla HP age 28 years, has been died due to fell down from hill near Bhamnoli and died on the spot. After autopsy at CH Rohru and deadbody handed over to her relatives for cremation.

2. Deceased Rohit Thakur S/O Sh. Ram Gopal R/O Braila PO Dahan Tehsil Rajgarh Distt. Sirmour HP age 19 years A/P student of Engineer at Polytechnic College Rohru, committed suicide by hanging himself in his room at Tara Niwas Rohru Distt. Shimla HP. After autopsy at CH Rohru and deadbody handed over to his relatives for cremation..

1. Accused Mohmad  Sharif @ Tunda  S/o Sh. Mohmad Guljar R/o Village Koti Chadiyar  P/o  Surjan Chalog, Tehsil & PS Banni  Distt. Kathua J&K  age 27 year arrested in case FIR No. 104/16 Dt. 24.06.2016 U/S 454,380 IPC  at PS Theog, is further on Police remand up to 07.07.2016

2. Accused Vineet Verma S/o Sh. Chand Prakash Verma R/o Harimilap Nagar, Phase-1, Batlana, Zeerak pur Punjab A/P 101 CHC MDC, Sector-6, Panchkula, Haryana, age 28 years, arrested in case FIR No. 154/16 Dt. 28.06.2016 U/S 498A, 406, 506, 352 IPC at PS Dhalli, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.
