Crime Report on Oct. 28, 2015

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 107/15 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 28.10.2015 U/S 39(i)(ii) H.P. Excise Act on the Rukka of ASI Balraj  I/O PS Rohru alleging therein that  on the intervening night of 27/28.10.2015 he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Tikker. When they reached near at Lambidhar Nalu (Tikker) , one vehicle No. HP-13-0878 (Eicher) was found  parked on the road side  at Lambidhar nalu. During search, 85 boxes  of  country liquor recovered from the possession of two  persons namely  Rakesh Kumar S/O  Sh. Purbadev  Thakur R/O  Jamidhar House  Sandal Chakker Shimla  and  Manpreet  Singh  Chadog S/O  Lt.  Sh. Sardar  Manmohan Singh R/O Building  No. 128  Manpreet State  Cart Road  Shimla  from the above vehicle. The case is being investigated by  ASI Balraj I/O PS Rohru.

2. An Accident case FIR No 185/15 has been registered at PS Rampur on 27.10.2015 U/S 279 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Vijay Prakash  S/o Sh. Nand Kishor R/o Village & PO Ribba, Tehsil Morang, Distt. Kinnaur HP alleging therein that on 27.10.2015, he was going towards Ghumarwin from Ribba  in his Vehicle No HP 39B-6858. When he reached near Bhaira Khad NH-05, at the same time one M/Car No HP-06-2715 came rashly & hit with and run away from the spot. The case is being investigating by HC Yoginder Singh I/O PS Rampur

3. An Accident case FIR No 186/15 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 28-10-2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Kehar Singh Thakur S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Vill. Chhanot Po Kandagai Tehsil Ani Distt. Kullu alleging therein that today he was on the way towards Rampur in his Car HP-35A-0995. At about 8.30 AM when he reached near Nogli NH-05, one A/F Motorcycle driven by Sandeep Kumar, came rashly from from Nogli and hit with his car. In this accident, four persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigating by HC Sushi Kumar no 156 TTR Rampur

4. An Accident case FIR No. 318/15 has been registered at PS Sadar, Shimla on 27.10.2015 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Mangal Chand S/o Lt. Sh. Thakur Dass R/o Village & PO Shawar, Teshil & PS Aani, Distt. Kullu, HP A/P Working in Hotel Tethys Sky Resort Narkanda, Shimla stated therein that on 27.10.2015, he alongwith his friend Kailash Chand and Nikhil were going towards Lakkar Bazar, Shimla in vehicle No. HP-63A-1965 (Alto). When they reached near Tarahall School, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Nikhil Kumar. In this accident Nikhil & Kailash sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Vinod, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar Shimla.

5. A Theft case FIR  No. 60/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 27.10.2015 U/S 379 IPC on the rukka of SI/ SHO PS Kotkhai on the complaint of Sh. Mast Ram A/P J.E. in HP State Electrisity Board Purag stated therein that on 26.10.2015 some unknown culprits has been stolen 250 KBA Transformer installed at Bhawana. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Kotkhai.

6. A Cheating case FIR No. 372/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 28.10.2015 U/S 420,120B IPC on the application of Sh. Kuldip Kumar Gupta R/O Gutas Building Opposite Nand Bhawan, Engine Ghar, Sanjauli Shimla-6 alleging therein that he has a policy No. 17957876 of Reliance Life Insurance with a premium amount of Rs. 30,000/- per year and are being paid regularly till 2014. During June, 2015, he has made a complaint with Sh. O.P. Rana, General Manager of above company for not getting regular statements. After that he received a calls from Sh. O.P. Rana, his private secy. Ms. Aruna & Sh. Inderjeet and asked him to deposit the commission agent fees @ 5% & 2.5% etc. He deposited Total Rs. 15,56,087 on different accounts provided by them w.e.f. 13.07.2015 to 07.10.2015. On 13.10.2015, he requested to Mr. O.P. Rana and Inderjeet to cancel his file and return his money. On this Mr. O.P. Rana has agreed, but now there mobile Nos. are switched off and cheated him.  The case is being investigated by ASI Dharam Singh I/O PP Sanjauli PS Dhalli.

7. During last 24 hours 195 vehicles challaned under MV Act, 03 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & 15 Challaned under Mining Act. Total challaned compounded= 84 & fine realized Rs. 53,400/-
