Crime Report on Oct. 16, 2015

1. An Excise Act case FIR No 17/15  has been registered at PS Kupvi on 15.10.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the Rukka of SI  Sandeep, SHO PS Kupvi alleging therein that on 15.10.2015, during patrolling, he recovered 04 bottles of English liquor, 6 bottles of country liquor & 24 bottles of Beer from the possession of Sh Gumaan Singh S/o Sh Baldi Ram R/o village Gont Tehsil Kupvi, Shimla.The Case is being investigated by SI Sandeep, SHO PS Kupvi.
2. An Accident case FIR No 173/15  has been registered at PS Theog on 15.10.2015  U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Vinod Kumar Pandey S/o Sh.Jeet Ram Pandey R/o village Rehal P/o Balag Tehsil Theog Distt Shimla alleging therein that he was going towards Balag from Shimla along with his relatives namely Puran Chand, Mother Smt. Deepo Devi, Sh. Shiv Ram Sharma in his vehicle No DL-9CK-8902. At about 04-00 PM, when they reached near Parala Mandi above car met with accident due to rash & negligent driving of Puran Chand and rolled down from the road. In this accident, two persons namely Smt. Deepo Devi & Sh. Shiv Ram Sharma had died during treatment at Theog Hospital and  he alongwith Jeet Ram Sharma & Puran sustained injuries. The case is being investigating by HC Inder I/O PS Theog     
3. An Accident case FIR No 96/15 has been registered at PS Rohru on 15.10.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the Rukka of ASI Kundan Lal I/C PP Tikkar PS Rohru Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on 15.10.2015 a vehicle No HP-62A – 1846 Maruti Car on the way from Rohru to Patsari, met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Sh. Devinder Kumar S/O Sh. Budh Ram R/O Village Devra Jubbal PO, Tehsil & PS  Jubbal Distt. Shimla. In this accident three persons namely  Devinder Kumar, Lokinder Manta & Nikka Birta sustained injury. The case is being investigating by ASI Kundan Lal I/C PP Tikkar.
4. A Cheating case FIR No. 50/15 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 16.10.2015 U/S 420 IPC on the statement of Sh. Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o village Kiari, PO Sarain, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla alleging therein that he saw an advertisement in Zee Cinema Channel, which asked one question. He replied the question on telephone No. 07058916018 and one person told him that he have won a Prize 12 gram gold & cash Rs. 25,000/-. After that he received two VPPs from Ashok Kumar AT+PO TUNASA Distt. GNG PIN-770042, and he paid Rs. 6300/- as VPP Charges. When he opened the VPPs and found 02 iron rings & some rough new papers. The case is being  investigated by ASI Pratap Singh, I/O PS West.
5. During last 24 hours 203 vehicles challaned under MV Act & 05 persons challaned under Smoking Act. Total challaned compounded= 86 & fine realized Rs. 29,600/-.
