Crime Report on Oct. 21, 2015

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 310/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 20.10.15 U/S 17-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered on the rukka of HC Najeer Ahamad No. 1683, I/O PS Sadar Shimla stated therein that on 20.10.2015. he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Lalpani Shimla. At about 04-40 PM, one person namely Mukesh S/o Lt. Sh. Mangat Ram R/o Dhara near Daily Needs Shop of Naresh, Downdale, below Old Bus Stand Shimla, age 40 years, intercepted by them. During search, 3 gram Heroin recovered from his possession.  The case is being investigated by HC Najeer Ahamad No. 1683, I/O PS Sadar.

2. A ND&PS case FIR No 311/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 20.10.2015 U/S 21,22 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Paramjeet I/o PS Sadar alleging therein that on the intervening night of  20/21.10.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty. When they reached near Railway Track above Phagali Shimla, one person namely  Anil Sharma S/o Sh. Devi Chand Sharma R/o Village Govayai Panesh, PO Ghannahatti, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 19 years, intercepted by them &  recovered 15 bottles Corex 100ml each & 45 capsule of restricted medicine Spasmo Proxyvon (R) Plus from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Paramjeet Singh, I/O PS Sadar.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 96/15 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 21.10.2015 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Madan Singh S/o Sh. Abhi Ram R/o Village Kogi, PO Durgapur, PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that on 20.10.2015, he was going to Shimla from Kinnaur. At about 09-30 PM, when he reached near Kingal, at the same time one Trax no. HP-02A-1195 came rashly from Kumarside side and collide with vehicles No. HP-01A-4991 & PB-01A-7519. The case is being investigated by L/HC Sita Devi, I/O PS Kumarsain.

4. An Accident case FIR No 175/15 has been registered at PS Theog on 21.10.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the Rukka of HC Ashok kumar alleging therein that today on 21.10.2015, Rajesh Kumar along with Shyam Singh were traveling in vehicle No HP-09A-3784 towards Laphughati. When they reached near Laphughati above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Rajesh Kumar, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Ashok Kumar I/O PS Theog.

5. A Cheating case FIR No 263/15 has been registered at PS West today on 21.10.2015 U/S 420,465,468 & 471 IPC on the complaint of Dr. Pankaj Lalit S/o late Sh. Dr. B.R. Sharma A/P Registrar at HP University, Summer Hill Shimla alleging therein that Chairman of Albiet Education & Welfare Trust  R/O Village & PO Lower Basaal Distt Una has produced fake certificates to get affiliation from Himachal Pradesh University to run his B. Sc. Nursing Collage at Basaal Una .The case is being investigated by SHO PS West.

6. During last 24 hours 253 vehicles challaned under MV Act and 03 Persons challaned under Smoking Act. Total challaned compounded= 98 & fine realized Rs. 39,400/-
