Crime Report June 24, 2015

1. A Cheating case FIR No. 55/15 has been registered at PS Rohru on 23.06.2015 U/S 415,420,463,470 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sudershan Kumar A/P Branch Manager, Mahindra & Mahindra Finance Service Limited Rohru Shimla alleging therein that on 04.04.2015, Mr. Chadda, Customer Representative told him that one Mr. Manoj Kumar S/o Sh. Kuldeep Singh R/o Village Naya Bans, Sub- Tehsil Sampla, Distt. Rohtak, Haryana A/P MIBL employee working as Business Development Executive in Rohru Branch has given him forged & fraudulent policy. During enquiry he found that the policies & receipt given to the customers was forged & fraudulent. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopal Singh, I/O PS Rohru.  
2. A Cheating case FIR No. 157/15 has been registered at PS West on 23.06.2015 U/S 420,120B IPC & 63,65 Copyright Act on the complaint of Sh. Shyam Sunder S/o Sh. Bhagateshwar Lal, M/S S.M. Communication, 51 Model Town Samalkha, Panipat, Haryana stated therein that he is the authorized representative of M/S Taj Television India Pvt. Ltd. and their company is authorized to telecast of Zee Satellite channel. He came to know that Good-Wood media operative run by Gagan Bashambhu Kachi Ghati, Shimla was illegally distributed the signals of their channels. The case is being investigated by SI Virochan Negi, I/O PS West.  
3. An Accident case FIR No. 26/15 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 24.06.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Veer Singh S/o Sh. Tilak Raj R/o Village Chopal, Distt. Shimla stated therein that one Pick-Up No. HP-17B-5519 met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Suresh Kumar. In this accident three persons namely Suresh Kumar, Daleep & Sh. Deep Singh sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Gian Singh, I/O PS Chopal.  
4. A Theft case FIR No. 56/15 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 24-6-2015 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ram krishan  S/O  Joban Singh R/O  VPO KUI  Teh Rohru Distt Shimla A/P Dy. Ranger B.O Bashla  Forest Development Corporation S/Nagar Sawara alleging therein that in the intervening night of 21/22-6-2015 some unknown person has stolen away the  66 sleeper of Devdar . The case is being investigated by ASI Gopal Singh I/O PS Rohru.
5. During the last 24 hours total 163 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 07 Persons challaned under Smoking Act and 07 Challan under Mining Act. Total Challan compounded = 82 and fine realized Rs. 35,400/-.
