Crime Report 23 June, 2015

1.    An Excise Act case FIR No.28/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today i.e. 23.6.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Dharam Sain Negi, SHO PS Kotkhai Shimla stated therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards village Ghasigaon. On the secret information, he searched the dhara of Karam Chand S/o Sh. Daulat Ram C/o Bittu Sharma R/o village Ghasigaon, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla and recovered 10 bottels of country liquor marka Darling from his dhara. The case is being investigated by SI Dharam Sain Negi SHO PS Kotkhai.

2.    An Accident case FIR No. 153/15 has been registered at PS west today on 23-06-2015 u/s 279,337 IPC  & 185 Motor Vehicle Act on the statement of Sh. Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Dev Chand R/o VPO Sinhuta Tehsil Chubadi Distt. Chamba stated therein that today on 23-06-2015 he alongwith his friends Yogesh and Lobjang Tandup were going to ISBT in motocycle. When they reached near 103 tunnel suddenly the driver of motorcycle Lobjang Tandup turn the motorcycle to left side  due to rash and negligent driving and motorcycle met with an accident.  In this incident they sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Partap Singh I.O PS West.  

3.    A Burglary case FIR No 32/15 has been registered at PS Sunni today on 23-06-2015 u/s 457,380 IPC  on the statement of Sh. Layak Ram S/o Sh. Swroop Ram Vill Bamot PO Pahal Tehsil Sunni Distt. Shimla age 42 year a/p Head teacher  Govt. Primary School Nadukhar Distt Shimla alleging therein that in the intervening night of 22-06-2015, some unknown person has broken the locks of Govt. Primary School Nadukhar and stolen away 2 fan, Rice Bag 80 kg and two black board. The case is being investigated by ASI Suresh Kumar  I.O. PS Sunni 

4.    An Accident case FIR No. 48/15  has been registered at PS East on  22-06-2015 U/s 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Varun Sood S/o Sh. Deepak Sood R/o New Bemloi Store builder Cottage Road Bemloi Shimla stated therein that on 22-06-15 the driver of Vehicle No. PB-12Q-0050 namely Amar Jeet Singh S/o Jasvir Singh R/o Vill Shyampura PO & Tehsil Ropad Punjab was turning his vehicle with rash and negligently and hit the vehicle No. HP 66A-0600, one Motorcycle  No. HP 25-0280, one child and also damaged his shop. In this accident Noginder S/o Baiskhu Lal and Kartik Mehta S/o Sh. I.N. Mehta sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by LHC Kamlesh I/o PS East.

5.    An Accident Case FIR No 52/15 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 22.06.2015 u/s 279 IPC on the complaint of Sh Om Parkash S/o Lt . Sh Karam Chand R/o village Chakan, P/O Gopalpur, Tehsil karsog, Distt Mandi,HP, A/ p driver HRTC Rampur Depo Bus No HP 06A-6071 alleging therein that pm 22-06-2015 he was coming from Gravati to Kumarsain route in bus no HP06A-6071. At About  08.30 AM when he reached near Tehsil office Kumarsain  suddenly a Pick-up No HP 62-3440 came rashly and negligently from Kumarsain bus stand and met with an accident. The case is being investigating by LHC Sita I.O. PS Kumarsain.

6.    During the last 24 hours total 233 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 01 Persons challaned under Smoking Act and 02 Challan under Mining Act. Total Challan compounded = 104 and fine realized Rs. 40,100/-. 

Follow-Up

1.    Surender Singh S/o Sh. Kanwar Singh R/o Village Bandroo, PO Pabhahan, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 54/15 Dt. 22.06.2015 U/S 457 380 IPC PS Rohru has been bailed out by trial court.  

2.    Twenty (20) accused namely : Dinesh Kumar, Puneet Kanwar, Birbal, Vinod Kumar,  Vikram Himalvi, Bhim Dev, Rajender Singh, Avtar singh, Charanjeet Singh, Kulvir Singh, Rahul, Baljit Singh, Gurenderjit Singh, Parminder Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Sonu, Gurpreet Singh, Harpreet Singh, Gagandeep Singh and Iqbal Singh have been arrested in case FIR NO. 150/15 Dated 20.06.2015 U/S 147,148,149,427,506,324,452,458,341, 447 IPC at P.S. West have been bailed out by trial court.
