Crime Report June 15, 2015

1. An Accident case FIR No. 25/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 14.06.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sanjay Chauhan S/o SH. Karam Chand Chauhan R/o Village Hulli, PO Gumma, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that on 14.06.2015 at about 04.20 PM a vehicle No. HP-52B-7200 (Swift) met with an accident near Hulli due to rash & negligent driving of Yogesh Diwan S/o Sh. Amar Singh R/o Village Pujarli, PO Marog, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla. In this accident Yogesh Diwan & his wife namely Anika Diwan & Kundan Singh Diwan sustained injuries. The case is being HC Balbir Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai.  

2. A Culpable Homicide case FIR No. 30/15 has been registered at PS Sunni today i.e. 15.06.2015 U/S 304 IPC on the statement of Sh. Laiq Ram S/o Sh. Swaroop Ram R/o Village Bamot, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla, age 42 years stated therein that today at about 08-35AM, driver of HRTC Bus No. HP-03B-6231 namely Gopal S/o Sh. Bali Ram R/o Village Majhas, Tehsil Karsog, Distt. Mandi hit a girl namely Kashish at Nadukhar when she was going to school. She died on the spot.  The case is being investigated by SI Tilak Chand, I/O PS Sunni.

3. A Burglary case FIR No. 218/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 14.06.2015 U/S 380,457 IPC application of Sh. Maan Singh Gulshan S/o Late Sh. Chananu Ram R/o Village Moolmajji, PO Thaila, Tehisl Sunni, Shimla stated therein that he is Storekeeper in Pandoi Devta Temple at village Moolmajji. In the intervening night 13/14.06.2015, some unknown person has broken the door lock of above temple and stolen utensils from the store. The case is being investigated by HC Kanwar Singh, I/O PP Mashobra.

4. A Theft case FIR No. 50/15 has been registered at PS Rohru on 14.06.2015 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Sh. Jai Dev Bhasta S/o Sh. Ram Lal R/o Village & PO Karasa, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla stated therein that in the intervening night of 08/09.06.2015, some unknown person has stolen away his motorcycle No. HP-10A-2291 (Red Colour) parked at Barara road. The case is being investigated by Insp. Sandeep Sharma, SHO PS Rohru.

5. A Theft case FIR No. 51/15 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 14.06.2015 U/S 379 IPC & 25 Telegraph Act on the application of Sh. Mahesh Prasad A/P JTO, O/o BSNL at Kumarsain alleging therein that on 14.06.2015, some unknown person has stolen away 50 pairs telephone cable wire from village Shawat. Police has arrested one person namely Prem Bahadur S/o Sh. Run Bahadur R/o Village Tulsipur, Distt. Dang, age 42 years alongwith cable wire. The case is being investigated ASI Lacchi Ram, I/O PS Kumarsain.

6. During the last 24 hours total 146 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total Challan compounded = 54 and fine realized Rs 27,600/-

1. Accused Prem Bahadur S/o Sh. Run Bahadur R/o Village Tulsipur, Distt. Dang, age 42 years, arrested in case FIR No. 51/15 Dt. 4.06.2015 U/S 379 IPC & 25 Telegraph Act at PS Kumarsain, is on police remand upto 18.06.2015.
