Crime Report 13 June, 2015

1.    A Gambling Act case FIR No. 83/15 has been registered at PS Theog on 12-06-15 u/s 13 Public Gambling Act on the rukka of Insp./SHO Gauri Dutt Sharma alleging therein that on 12-06-15 when he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Sabji Mandi Theog, four persons namely Mohinder Verma S/o Hira Singh Verma R/o Vill Baloag Tehsil Theog, Ramesh S/o Hari Nand R/o Kud PO Jais Tehsil Theog, Rajnish S/o Daulat Ram R/o Daral PO Jais Tehsil Theog and Om Parkash S/o Duni Chand R/o Kotighat Tehsil Kumarsain were found playing gambling behind the vehicles and recovered Rs. 12050/-. The case is being investigated by Insp/SHO Gauti Dutt PS Theog.

2.    A Grievous hurt case FIR No. 142/15 has been registered at PS west on 12-06-15 u/s 325 IPC on the complaint of Babu Ram S/o late Sh. Jeet Ram VPO Rampur Keonthal Tehsil and Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 31-05-15 when he went to Vill Shakoli in his Pick Up No. HP 63-4861 for collect the material of Shuttering, one person namely Sanju beaten him and damaged his Thumb.  The medical examination of complainant has been conducted at DDU hospital Shimla. Medical office DDU gave grievous injuries in his final opinion. The case is being investigated by HC Shyam Lal I.O . PS West.

3.    An Excise Act case FIR No. 43/15 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 12-06-15 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI/SHO Munish Raj Sharma alleging therein that on 12-06-15 he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty in Chirgaon bazaar. During patrolling  22 bottel of country liquor marka Sirmaur orange has been recovered from the shop of Sanjay Kumar S/o Mansa Ram R/o Ghorachowki Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Munish Raj Sharma SHO  PS Chirgaon.

4.    Five cases of Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant case FIR No. 39/15  to  43/15 has been registered at PS New Shimla today on 13-06-15 u/s 188 IPC against the migrant labourers staying without registration and disobeyed the order passed by District Magistrate Shimla.

5.    During the last 24 hours total 157 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total Challan compounded = 79 and fine realized Rs 40,800/-
