A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 238/14 has been registered at PS Sadar on 30.12.2014 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Deepak Thakur, I/O PS Sadar Shimla stated therein that on 30.12.2014, he alongwith staff on traffic checking duty at Ghoda Sarai, Cart Road Shimla. At about 08.50 PM, one vehicle No. UP-14-AQ-7500 (Maruti Swift) alongwith three persons namely Lalit Chaudhry S/o Sh. Dharam Paul Singh R/o Iklota, PO Modipuram, Tehsil Sarghana, PS Dourla, Distt. Merath, UP, Arun Gupta S/o Sh. Vijay Prakash R/O House No. 214, Mohalla Nagar, Colony Khautali, Distt. Mujjafar Nagar, UP and Mohd. Sartaz S/o Sh. Anis Aalam R/o House No. 60, Mohalla Sarakan, Khautali, Distt. Mujjafar Nagar, UP intercepted by them. During search, they recovered restricted medicine 230 bottles of Correx cough Syrup (100 ml each) from their possession. Above accused have been arrested by the police and case is being investigated by SI Deepak Thakur, I/O PS Sadar.
A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 283/14 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 30.12.14 U/S 20,22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Ashish Samuel, I/C PP Sanjauli Shimla stating therein that on 30.12.2014, he alongwith staff on patrolling at Sanjauli Shimla. At about 08.30 PM, one vehicle No. HP-09-3764 alongwith two persons namely Vidhyut Sumta S/o Sh. Satish Sumta R/o Village Talawan (Tikker), PO Pujarli No. 3, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 20 years and Rohit Thakur S/o Sh. Ramesh Chand Thakur R/o Thakur Niwas, Engine Ghar Sanjauli Shimla age 25 year have been intercepted by them. During search, they recovered 340 gram charas, 01 bottle of Rexcoff (100 ml), 48 tablets of N-10 & 21 tablets of Spasmo proxyvan plus from their possession. The above accused have been arrested by the police and case is being investigated by SI Ashish Samuel, I/C PP Sanjauli Shimla.
A Damage to Public Property case FIR No 107/14 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 30.12.2014 U/S 3 PDP Act on the application of Sh. Joban Dass S/o Sh. Pipnu Ram R/o Village Jaigarh, PO Thandi, Tehsil & PS Anni, A/P Engineer O/o Sub Divisional NTR BSNL Rampur stated that on 30.12.2014 at about 12.30 PM during official round to Baragaon, and found that contractor of Airtel Company was laying the OFC cable between Kingal to Baragaon and damaged OFC cable of BSNL Deptt. The case is being investigated by LHC Sita, I/O PS Kumarsain .
A Rioting case FIR No. 160/14 has been registered at PS East on 30.12.2014 U/S 323,504,506,147,149 IPC on the compliant of Smt. Sarita Devi D/o Smt. Kamla R/o Village Damechi, PO Beolia, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on 30.12.2014, at about 05-30 PM, Sukh Ram cut the wooden from her fields near her house. When she asked from Sukh Ram, on this he alongwith his family members Jai Ram, Palu, Leela, Kaushlya & Gangi came there and scuffle with her. They also abused and beaten her & threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Sheesh Pal, I/O PS East.
During last 24 hours Total 182 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 09 challaned under Smoking Act. Total challan compounded= 84 and the fine realized Rs. 33,000/-

Vijay Prakash R/O House No. 214, Mohalla Nagar, Colony Khautali, Distt. Mujjaf Nagar, UP and Mohd. Sartaz S/o Sh. Amir Aalam R/o House No. 60, Mohalla Sarakan, Khautali, Distt. Mujjafar Nagar, UP have been arrested in case FIR No. 238/14 Dt. 30.12.14 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar.
Two accused Vidhyut Sumta S/o Sh. Satish Sumta R/o Village Talawan (Tikker), PO Pujarli No. 3, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 20 years and Rohit Thakur S/o Sh. Ramesh Chand Thakur R/o Thakur Niwas, Engine Ghar Sanjauli Shimla age 25 year have been arrested in Case FIR No. 283/14 Dt. 30.12.2014 U/S 20,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli
