A Theft case FIR No.230/14 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 14.12.14 U/S 379 IPC on the Complaint of Sh. Sukhwant S/o Sh. Kashmir Singh R/o New Shakti Nagar Gali No.-6 House No.-1628 Ward No. 11 Jyode wali Basti Ludhina alleging therein that on 09-12-2014 one person namely Kushal Dhingra hired his vehicle NO. PB10-7782 (Swift Dezire) for Shimla. On the same day at about 10-00 Pm he parked his vehicle out side the parking of Hotel Gulmarg. On 10-12-2014 morning when he checked his vehicle it found missing and he has doubt that Kushal Dhingra theft his vehicle who was also not present in the hotel. The case is being investigated by HC Bala Ram I.O PS Sadar.
An Accident case FIR No. 196/14 has been registered at PS Theog on 14.12.2014 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Keshav Ram R/o Barmal PO Tiyali Tehsil Theog Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 13.12.2014, one vehicle No. HP 63A-1893 met with an accident near Shahi village due to lost of control on vehicle by the driver Deep Ram. Deep Ram and his wife Sarla Devi died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Nain I/O PS Theog.
An Accident case FIR No. 58/14 is registered at PS Nerwa today i.e. on 15.12.2014 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Mangat Ram Sharma S/o Sh. Shobh Ram Sharma R/o Village Shawala, PO Ruslah, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla alleging therein that on 15.12.2014, he was coming towards Nerwa in his vehicle. At about 02-00 PM, when he reached near Parshanu Bridge, one Pick-Up No. HP-63B-1466 coming from his opposite side, met with an accident and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Vinaymeen S/o Sh. Sattardeen R/o Parshanu, Sub- Tehsil Nerwa, Shimla. Three persons namely Vinaymeen (driver), Aslam S/o Sh. Liyaqat and Bunna S/o Sh. Juman R/o Parshanu sit in this vehicle. In this accident, two persons Vijanymeen & Aslam sustained injuries and one person Bunna died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamlender Singh, I/O PS Nerwa.
During last 24 hours 08 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act Total challan compounded= 01 and the fine realized Rs. 15,00/-

Accused Hem Raj S/o Sh. Tara Chand R/o Village & PO- Baragaon, Distt. Shimla A/P Student in APG University, Shimla & Hemant @ Chhalu S/o Sh. Maan Dass R/O Village & PO Kartot, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla, age 19 years, arrested in case FIR No. 152/14 Dt. 11.12.2014 U/S 379 IPC PS East, bailed by the trial court.
