Crime Report 29 December, 2014

1. A House Trespass case FIR No 105/14 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 28.12.2014 U/S 448 IPC  on the application of Sh. Raghubeer Singh Mehta S/o Sh. Ishwar Chand Mehta R/o Village & PO Oddi, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that he is posted in DC office Shimla. On 27.12.2014 he went to his native place at Oddi. At about 08-00 PM, when he reached their and found that his elder brother and his son Amit have illegally trespassed and forcibly occupied his old house. The case is being Investigated By HC Krishan lal I/O PS Kumarsain. 

2. A Wrongful Restraint & Criminal intimidation case FIR No 152/14 has been registered at PS Rohru on 28.12.2014 U/S 341,323,504,506,427 IPC on the application of Sh. Mohan Singh Chauhan S/O Sh. Sant Ram R/O Village & PO Sheel, Tehsil Rohru, Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 27.12.2014 at about 03-00 PM  he alongwith his family were at sheelghat and he parked his car roadside to buy some items. Suddenly one person namely Kawar Singh S/O Late  Sh. Atama Ram alongwith  his son Vineet R/o Sheelghat,  Tehsil Rohru, Shimla came in front of his car and obstructed his way, abused them with indecent language. They beaten them and also broken the window glass (driver side) of this car and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigate by HC Man Dass, I/O PP Tikker .

3. A Burglary case FIR No. 203/14 has been registered at PS Theog on 28.12.2014 U/S 457 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Amarjit S/o Sh. Dila Ram R/o Village & PO Sainj, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that during the intervening night of 25/26.12.2014 some unknown person has stolen two headlight Torch, , 12 LAVA mobiles, 6 Micormax Mobiles, 2 Nokia mobiles, 1 Sony camera, Memory Cards, Pendrives & Cash Rs. 3550/- from his shop.  The case is being investigated by HC Sadhu Ram, I/O PS Theog.

4. A Wrongful Restraint & Criminal intimidation case FIR No. 153/14 is registered at PS Rohru today i.e. on 29.12.2014  U/S 341,323,506,34 IPC has been registered on the  application of Sh. Kushal Singh Jhama S/O Lt. Sh. Uma Sharan Jhamta  R/O Village & PO  Kui,  Tehsil Rohru Distt Shimla alleging therein that  today he alongwith his family were going to Shimla. When they reached at Bus Stop Chapoti, Rohru, at the same time  three persons namely Lalit, Sher Singh  and Smt. Kanta Devi obstructed his way, beaten him and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Vinay Kumar, I/O PS Rohru.

5. During last 24 hours Total 167 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 02 challaned under Smoking Act. Total challan compounded= 71 and the fine realized Rs. 34,000/-

1. An Unidentified male deadbody, age about 50/55 years found at Old Bus Stand Shimla. His deadbody has been taken to IGMC, Shimla for postmortem.

   Follow up

1. Accused Prem Lal  S/o Sh. Nandu Ram R/o Village Lohanda, PO Salwana, Tehsil Sunder Nagar, Mandi A/P Junk dealer, Shop at Main Bazar Shoghi, Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 52/14 Dt. 457 380 411 IPC at PS West, is on Police Ramand upto 30.12.2014.

2. Accused Amrik Singh Nagpal S/o Sh. Sardar Harbhajan Singh R/o Kothi No. 3008, 35-D, Chandigarh UT age 40 years, arreseted in case FIR No. 233/14 Dt. 21.11.14 U/S 30,31,41,42 IF Act, Section 16 LP Act and 447,420,461,468,120B,201,379 IPC at PS West is further on Police remand up to 30.12.2014
