An Excise Act case FIR NO. 287/14 has been registered at PS West on 21.12.2014 U/S 39 H.P. Excise Act on the rukka of SI Harish I/C PP Jatog alleging therein that on 21-12-2014 he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty at Totu. During Checking of vehicle No. HP63A-0185 (Maruti Van) 5 boxes of English liquor Officer Choice total=60 bottels have been recovered from the possession of Virender Kumar S/o Sh. Rajinder Kumar R/o Vill Dhemechi PO Beolia Tehsil & Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Harish I/C PP Jutog.
During last 24 hours 78 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total challan compounded= 61 and the fine realized Rs. 15,100/-

Accused Amrik Singh Nagpal S/o Sh. Sardar Harbhajan Singh R/o Kothi No. 3008, 35-D, Chandigarh UT age 40 years has been arreseted in case FIR No. 233/14 dated 21-11-2014 U/S 30,31,41,42 IF Act, Section 16 LP Act and 447,420,461,468,120B,201,379 IPC registered at PS West.
Accused Suchha Singh S/o Sh. Kishori Lal R/o Vill Sainj PO Dei Tehsil Ramshehar Distt. Solan and Manjeet Singh S/o Sh. Kulvinder Singh R/o VPO Sainj Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla had been arrested in case FIR No. 79/14 U/S,457,380 34 IPC at PS Chopal are bailed out.
Accused Yashpal s/o Sh. Guma Singh r/o Vill. Saskir PO. Solang Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla, had been arrested in case FIR No.54/14 dated 19-12-14 u/s 376,506 IPC & 5 J(2)and 6 of Pocso act at Police Station Jubbal is on Police remand up to 24-12-2014.
- Accused Virender Thakur S/o Sh. Sohan Lal Thakur R/o Vill Kiari PO Taradevi Tehsil & Distt. Shimla and Rakesh Kumar S/o Parkash Chand R/o VPO Seri Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi had been arrested in case FIR No. 280/14 dated 18-12-14 u/s 22 ND&PS Act at Police station Dhalli sent on judicial custody up to 30-12-2014.
