Crime Report 11 December, 2014

1. A Fire incident case FIR No. 226/14 has been registered at PS Sadar on 10.12.2014 U/S 285,287 IPC on the statement of Sh. Santosh Kumar Saini S/o Late Sh. Ram Chand Saini R/o Village Banmankhi Rajhat, Tehsil Banmankhi, Distt. Purnia Bihar A/P Caretaker in State Bank of India, The Mall Shimla alleging therein that on 10.12.2014 at about 01-30 PM, he was withdrawing the money from ATM of RASMECC Bank. After withdraw the money, when he came out from the ATM and saw that Generator kept outside the base story of above building, was burning. He informed to Ravinder Singh, Security Guard & Sh. Attar Singh- Operator  and rushed to the spot to extinguish the fire. Fire fighter have also reached at the spot and extinguished the fire. This fire incident took place due to negligency of Operator. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhmi Singh, I/O PS Sadar.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 193/14 is registered at PS Theog on 11.12.2014 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vipin Bhardwaj S/o Sh. Mohan Lal R/o Village Parala, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 10.12.2014 at about 09-30 PM one Alto Car No. HP-63-3757 met with an accident outside his hotel at Parala due to the rash & negligent driving of Gopal S/o Sh. Kewal R/o Village Kaina, PO Balghar, Tehsil Theog, Shimla. He sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Kamalpati, I/C PP Chhaila.

3. A Theft case FIR No. 152/14 is registered at PS East on 11.12.2014 U/S 379 IPC on the statement of Smt. Manorma W/o Sh. Ashok Kumar R/o Pinevilla, Chhota Shimla alleging therein that her son has parked his Motorcycle No. HP-07-7389 (Bajaj Avenger) outside her house. During the invervening night of 10/11.12.2014, some unknown person has stolen away above motorcycle. Accused Hem Raj S/o Sh. Tara Chand R/o Village & PO- Baragaon, Distt. Shimla A/P Student in APG University, Shimla has been arrested in this case and above motorcycle recovered from his possession.  The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Raj, I/O PS East.

4. During last 24 hours 268 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 06 challaned under Smoking Act. Total challan compounded= 96 and the fine realized Rs. 36,500/-

1. Deceased Hardeep S/o Sh. Kundan Singh R/o Upper Story, Mejdhan Dhaba, Boileauganj, Shimla age 54 years has been died due to Heart Attack. He was taken to IGMC Shimla for treatment, where doctor declared him braught dead.

1.  Accused Hem Raj S/o Sh. Tara Chand R/o Village & PO- Baragaon, Distt. Shimla A/P Student in APG University, Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 152/14 Dt. 11.12.2014 U/S 379 IPC PS East.

2. Accused Pummy S/o Sh. Shauju Ram, Rinku S/o Sh. Ramesh, Sandeep S/o Sh. Dhanu Ram & Ramesh S/o Sh. Shailu Ram (All) R/O Bangala Collony Sanjuali, Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 276/14 Dt. 10.12.2014 U/S 9,51 Protection of Wild Life Act-1972, PS Dhalli.
