Crime Report 20th December, 2014

1. An Accident case FIR No. 153/14 has been registered at PS East on 19-12-2014 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Dhyan Singh s/o late Sh. Kanthu Ram VPO Kathasu tehsil Jubbal Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 19-12-2014 when he was present at Pujarli road near Beolia, at the same time at about 11-00 AM a vehicle No. HP-52A-6144 alto car met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving of driver Prem Chand Sharma S/o Sh. Shiv Dutt Sharma VPO Beolia tehsil and Distt. Shimla. Prem Chand Sharma driver of vehicle sustained injuries in this accident. The case is being investigated by HC Shish Pal I.O. PS Kasumpti PS East.

2. A Voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons case FIR No. 197/14 has been registered at PS Theog on 19-12-2014 U/S 324 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Nitin Verma S/o Sh. Inderjeet Verma R/o VPO Kelvi tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 19-12-2014 when he was going from his home for household articles at the same time Dinesh met him who was in the infullence of alcohol, abusing him and beaten him with wine bottle. Complainant sustained injuries in this incident. The case is being investigated by HC Yogesh I.O. PS Theog.

3. A Burglary case FIR No. 79/14 has been registered at PS Chopal on 19-12-14 U/S,457,380 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Jagdish Chand S/o Sh. Prem Lal R/o Vill Salong PO Doba tehsil Sadar Bilaspur HP at present shopkeeper meet market Madeog alleging therein that on dated 18/19/-12-2014 three person namely Manjit Singh, Suchha Singh and Surinder Singh stolen away his 11 goats  from his animals shed.  The approximate value of stolen property is 1,10,000/-. The case is being investigated by HC Gain Singh I.O PS Chopal.

4. A wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation case FIR No. case FIR No.233/14 has been registered at PS Sadar on 19-12-14 U/S- 341,323,506 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunder Singh R/o Vill Jhina PO Chambi Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla alleging therein that he had taken Rs/- 1 lac and 70,000/- as a loan from Karan, Mahalaxmi Jewellers Lower Bazar Shimla and impledge 90 gm gold to him. On 19-12-2014 when he was present at Scandal point in Shimla, at the same time Karan Goyal met him and took him to his shop, where Karna goyal beaten him with punches and stick. The case is being investigated by SI Jasvir Singh I.O. PS Sadar.

5. An Accident case FIR No. 285/14 is regisrer at PS West on 20.12.2014 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Tek Chand S/o Sh. Lachhi Ram R/o VPO Dharsod  tehsil Karsog Distt. Mandi working as a driver in Hariom Pvt. Bus No. HP 63A-3719 alleging therein that today at 10-20 AM he was going  on his route from ISBT Tutikandi to Karsog. When he reached near RTO office, at the same time one private bus no. HP63A-4019 came from wrong side rashly and negligently and hit the bus in front. This accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving of driver Bhupender of bus No. HP63A-4019 due to which complainant and the passengers sit inside the bus sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SI Shyam Lal I.O PS West. 

6. During last 24 hours 149 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total challan compounded= 52 and the fine realized Rs. 27,400/-

Follow Up

 

1. Accused Surdarshan s/o Sh. Ram Swaroop shashtri r/o VPO Batal Tehsil Arki Distt. Solan a/p Ram Bhawan Chakkar Shimla Age-23 years and Hridesh Sharma s/o Sh. Prem Lal Sharma r/o V.P.O. Dhundan Tehsil Arki Distt. Solan, a/p Santoshi cottage behind Puran Ashram new Totu shimla Age- 28 years had been arrested in case FIR No. 284/14 Dt. 17-12-14 u/s 22,29 ND&PS Act have bailed out.

 

Recovery:-  Mangal sutra gold=1, Rings gold ladies and gents-2, Sahrey gold, Kara silve-1  Ear rings-1 pair and cash-7000/-. Total property of Rs/- 1,15,000 has been recovered in case FIR No 149/14 dated 16-12-2014 U/s 457,380 registered at PS Rohru.
