1. (ACCUSE ARRESTED AND RECOVER STOLEN PROPERTY) A THEFT case FIR No. 103/13 is registered at Police Station Kumarsain on 29-08-13 U/S 379 IPC on the report of ASI Lachhi Ram PS Kumarsain that during patrolling along with staff near Vill Shivan, Teh Kumarsain, he recovered 16.400 gm Copper Wire from the illegal possession of Devender Sharma S/o Late Sh. Jawahar Lal R/o Vill Dharagla, PO Sholli, Nankhari, Teh Rampur.
2. An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 110/13 is registered at Police Station Theog on 29-08-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Diwan Singh S/o Sh. Babu Ram R/o Vill Kateya Majar, PO Satlai, Teh & Distt Shimla, alleging therein that he is owner/ driver of vehicle Pick-up No. HP-63-3632 and Sanjeev Kumar driver of vehicle Pick-up No. HP-63-0645. On 28-08-13 both above vehicles load Apple from Kotkhai to Shimla, near Vill Shatna, vehicle Pick-up No. HP-63-0645 fell down 250 ft. from the road. In this accident one person named Ram Sawroop sustained injury. Case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Nain I/c PP Fagu.
3. An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 43/13 is registered at Police Station Jubbal on 28-08-13 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the complaint of Surender Pal S/o Sh. Tilak Raj R/o Vill Nurpur bedi, Teh Anandpur Sahib, Distt Roper, Punjab, alleging therein that on 28-08-13 when he came back from Rohtan for Apple season with vehicle Truck No. HP-12B-8880, near Dhadi Ghunsa when above vehicle goes outside the road to gave pass to another vehicle and fell down from the road. In this accident driver/owner Balbir Chand S/o Sh. Amar Chand died on the spot. Case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet I/c PP S/nagar.
4. During last 24 hours 204 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 03 challaned under COPTA. The total amount of compounding fee of challans under MV Act and COPTA is Rs. 16,695/-.
