CRIME REPORT 07 AUGUST

1.     AN ACCIDENT  Case FIR No. 34/13  is  registered  at  PS  Chopal  on 6.8.2013 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Mohar Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Roop Singh R/o Shitna PO Dhabas Tehsil Chopal District Shimla HP, alleging therein that on 6.8.13 at 4:00 PM when he was on the road at Krai near Nakaura Exchange. A HRTC Bus No. HP66-1923 came rashly from Chopal side & a truck was coming from Nerwa side when bus & truck were crossing ,driver of bus started driving back side, suddenly bus fell down 200 meters left side in to the Dhabas Khad. Five person were found dead on the spot & Eleven persons have died till yet. 35 person injured in this accident. The  Case is being investigated by ASI Ram Gopal I/O PS Chopal.

2.     A THEFT Case  FIR No . is registered at Police Station New Shimla on dated 07-08-13 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Narender Joshi S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Neri PO Devnagar Tehsil Rampur Bhushar distt Shimla A/P Security guard Reliance Broadcast network Ltd 4^th Floor SAM Villa Block-A, Near Ajay Automobiles Kanlog Shimla. That on the night of 6/7-08-2013 when he was on duty with Promo Producer Himashu Sharma they heard a noise at about 12.30 PM of vehicle turned when he saw from window that one person stealing petrol from bike whom he know very well the name of person is Kahitiz Kalta S/o Hem Raj Kalta R/o Kanlog. This case is being investigated by SI Ashish  Samuel PS New Shimla.

3.     PERSONATING A PUBLIC SERVANT Case  FIR No. 70/13  is registered  at PS East on 7.08.13 U/S  170 IPC on  complaint of Sh Harish Negi  Dupty Secty. GAD Govt of H.P., alleging therein that on 31.07.13 someone  has got reservation of Room No. 602 in Himachal Bhawan New Delhi. Whereas he is  at Shimla  and has not  recommended  any reservation  neither  for himself nor for  any person these  facts have been  confirmed  by Roop Lal Head  Constable working as PSO to Hon'ble MLA Bumbar Thakur  Bilaspur Sadar. He denied  the signature. Someone forged  the signature of MLA Bumbar Thakur. The case is being investigated by HC Shyam Lal  I/O  PS East.

4.     AN INCIDENT of bear biting has been reported in PS Jubbal on the intervening night of 6-7-13 a person namely Vikas Sagar S/o Sh Dula Ram R/o Mural P.O Barthata Tehsil & PS Jubbal age 34years and Talve Sain S/o Sh Gani Gujjar attacked by bear in the Mural jungle in which both person got injured and First-aid given both in hospital and referred to IGMC Shimla

5.       During last 24 hours  149 vehicles were challaned  by Shimla  Police under MV Act . & 13 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005).  The total amount of Compounding fee of challans under MV Act isRs. 25,800/-.
