1. An EXCISE case FIR No. 151/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 18-08-13 on the report of ASI Nagdev that on some information during raid he recovered 60 bottles country liquor from the illegal possession of Lal Bahdur (Nepali) S/o Sh. Nand Lal R/o Ward No. 5, PO Paduka, Anchal Bheri Nepal near Gurudwara Parking.
2. A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case FIR No. 131/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 18-08-13 U/S 341, 323, 506, 509 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Hira Devi W/o Sh. Mohinder Singh R/o Vill Bewat, PO Delat, Nankahari, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 17-08-13 at 4:30 PM when she was coming after to collect fuel wood, one person named Hira Singh S/o Sh. Ganga Ram R/o VPO Bewat obstruct her way, beat her and also threatened with dire consequences. Case is being investigated by HC Devinder Nath I/o PP Nankhari.
3. A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case FIR No 132/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 18-08-13 U/S 341, 323, 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vivek Sharma S/o Sh. Satya Dev Sharma R/o VPO Dansa, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla, allege therein that on 17-08-13 at 2:30 PM when he was going toward his home, persons namely Lucky Devi and Twinkal both R/o VPO Dansa obstruct his way, beat him and also threatened with dire consequences. Case is being investigated by HC Ram Lal I/o PS Rampur.
4. A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case FIR No 75/13 is registered at Police Station East Shimla on 17-08-13 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Surender Singh R/o Block No. 9, Quarter No. -15, Barnes Cour,t Chhota Shimla, alleging therein that he is driver of Vehicle No. HP-07-0005 HP Sectt. On 16-08-13 at 10:30 PM he say to the Santri (HHG ) of HP Sett near PNB Gate to give the key of his Quarter which was kept in the Gumti .Santri and two another person obstruct him and beat him .Case is being investigated by HC Prakash Chand PS East Shimla.
5. A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case FIR No 76/13 is registered at Police Station East Shimla on 17-08-13 U/S 341, 323, 504, 506 IPC on the complaint of Rejeesh Verma S/o Sh. Ram Krishan Verma R/o Vill Mehli, PO Kasumpti, Teh & Distt Shimla, alleging therein that he is a contractor. On 17-08-13 at Mehli Gussan one person named Lalit Verma S/o Late Sh. Sukh Ram come their obstruct him, beat him and threaten with dire consequence. Case is being investigated by ASI Ram Lal I/o PP Kasumpti.
6. An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 39/13 is registered at Police Station Chopal on 17-08-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Sunil S/o Sh. Aatma Ram R/o VPO Nerwa, Teh Chopal, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 17-08-13 when he was going to Nerwa from Chopal by vehicle Pick-up No. HP-62A-2197, near Dhabas Kainchi driver of above vehicle Nipun Negi lost his control & fell down in to the Dhabas Khad. In this accident two persons sustained injuries. Case is being investigated by ASI Partap Singh I/o PS Chopal.
7. An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 164/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 18-08-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Champa Devi D/o Sh. Lekh Ram Chauhan R/o Vill Jalmog, PO Kalihatti, SHimla, alleging therein that on 18-08-13 at 8:05 AM when she was going to Summerhill from Sngti one vehicle Bus No. HP-03B-0167 hit her, due to this accident she sustained injury, above us was driven by driver Umed Singh Rana. Case is being investigated by ASI Dharmesh Dutt I/o PP Summerhill.
8. An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 165/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 18-08-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Satya Parkash S/o Sh. Govind Ram Sharma R/o Vill Karayan, PO Chalal, The Sunni, DIstt SHiml, alleging therein that when he was going to Kachi Ghati, near Fagi one vehicle Truck No. HP-11B-0945 lose the control and fell down from the road. Case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kunar I/o PS West Shimla.
9. During last 24 hours 132 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 06 challaned under COPTA. The total amount of compounding fee of challans under MV Act and COPTA is Rs. 32,700/-.
