1. An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 166/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 19-08-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Hem Raj Sharma S/o Sh. Padam Dev Sharma R/o Vill Raavi, PO Sarahan, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 19-08-13 at 4:30 PM when he and his friends namely Sushil Sharma S/o Sh. Sudharshan Dev Sharma and Gautam Sharma S/o Sh. Lekh Raj Sharma went to their home form Chandigarh in vehicle Eon No. HP-06A-4359, near Shoghi Petrol Pump above vehicle met with accident during overtake, all above persons sustained injuries. Case is being investigated by PSI Rajesh Kumar I/o PS West.
2. A HURT case FIR 167/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 19-08-13 U/S 341, 323, 147, 149, 506 IPC on the complaint of Vinay S/o Sh. Bali Bhadra Sharma R/o Vill Harkali, PO Thauna, Teh Sarkaghat, Distt Mandi, alleging therein that on 19-08-13 when was going to School along with Rahul, near Railway Track Totu another Rahul wrongfully restrained and beat him, due to which he sustained injury. Case is being investigated by HC Puran Chand I/O PP Jutogh.
3. During last 24 hours 136 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 10 challaned under COPTA. The total amount of compounding fee of challans under MV Act and COPTA is Rs. 33,140/-.
