1. AN ACCIDENT Case FIR No. 124/13 is registered at PS Dhalli on 1.08.13 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Balbir Singh S/o Sh Ishwar Singh R/o Dargi( Dhagot) P.O. Sainj Teh. Sunni Distt Shimla , alleging therein that on 31.07.13 Vishwajit informed him that a HRTC Bus No. HP63-2962 had fell down 150 ft. from the road behind crasher point at Dargi. Two persons were lying by the side of bus , one bus driver namely Dharm Dev and second Bishan Dass who is worker in HRTC. This accident caused due to rash & negligent driving of Bus driver. The case is being investigated by HC Shiv Kumar I/O PP Sunni.
2. During last 24 hours 158 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans under MV Act is Rs. 17,300/-.
3. A Case FIR No. 46/13 U/S 302,392,34 IPC registered at PS Rohru on 23.07.13. On 1st August, during the morning hours, Shimla Police(SP, SDPO, SHO) and Delhi Police (SI Ravinder Singh and SI Deepak Dhaiya, Operation cell North District) carried out a joint operation to recover stolen idols of Baindra Devta of Bachhunch in Saraidhar (around 30Km from Rohru).In this operation all the stolen idols(total 8) were recovered. Thus most of the valuable items have been recovered. The recovery was made on the instance of three Nepalese persons who were arrested yesterday by Delhi Police in section 41 of Cr.PC. Their names are - Dhirendra Shahi, Bharat Shahi, Ramesh. During the movement of the arrested persons people of the area Gheraoed police vehicles to have a look at the recovered idols. Later hundreds of people gathered at Police Station for a view of Devta. The case property has been released to the temple committee and custody of accused has been given to Shimla Police.
