CRIME REPORT 25 JULY

1.     An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 29/13 is registered at Police Station Kotkhai on 24-07-13 u/s 279, 304A IPC on the report of SI/SHO Gauridutt Sharma that today morning, information received at Police Station Kotkhai that a vehicle met with accident near Vill Tahoo. When Police rushes the spot it is found that one vehicle  No. HP-63-2943 fell down 300 mtr. from the road near Baresta Kainchi, in which 3 persons namely Surjan Singh S/o Sh. Mathu Ram (53), Laiq Ram S/o Sh. Jai Chand (65) and Sanjay S/o Sh. Laiq Ram all R/o Vill Tahoo (31) died on the spot. Case is being investigated by ASI Om Krishan I/o PS Kotkhai.

2.     A DISHONESTLY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY case FIR No. 40/13 registered at Police Station Jubbal on 25-07-13 U/S 411, 34 IPC on the report of HC Pyare Lal that during Naka duty at Jubbal to Kharapathar road along with staff he saw one person turn back his vehicle Maruti Van No. HP10A-0278 near Praunthi. When he caught the above M/van, he found one person named Brij Lal S/o Sh. Janpur R/o Vill Thana, PO Mandal, Teh Jubbal, Distt Shimla drive above Van and one another person ran away from the spot. Case is being investigated by HC Pyare Lal I/o PS Jubbal.

3.     During last 24 hours 172 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 08 challaned under COPTA. The total amount of compounding fee of challans under MV Act and COPTA is Rs. 45,800/-.

4.     One MISSING PERSON report is received at Police Station Chirgaon vide DD No. 16 on 25-07-13 on the complaint of Sh. Karam Dass S/o Sh. Shibu Ram R/o Vill Dhamwari, Teh Chirgaon, Distt Shimla, that his grandson named Rajeev Kumar (13) went somewhere without information.
