1. An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 84/13 is registered at Police Station Theog on 12-07-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Jagat Thakur S/o Sh. Jhodha Ram R/o Gangta Cottage, Vijay Nagar, Shimla, alleging therein that when he was going to Kotkhai in vehicle Maruti car No. HP-62-3400, near Shani Dev Mandir at Lambidhar one vehicle Maruti Car No. PB-12M-0765 hit his vehicle. This accident occurred due to rash & negligent driving by driver named Gopal. Case is being investigated by HC Het Ram I/o PP Fagu.
2. An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 118/13 is registered at Police Station on 12-07-13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the complaint of Babu Ram R/o VPO Kadiwan, Teh Rohru, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 12-07-13 when he was traveling in one vehicle Indica car No. HP-63B- 0697 along with Satya Devi, Sonu Devi, Santosh Kumar which was driven by Vinod Kumar near Tharu (Nankhari) above driver loose the control upon above vehicle and fell down from the road. All above persons sustained injuries and driver Vinod Kumar died during treatment. Case is being investigating by HC Devinder Nath I/O PP Nankhari.
3. During last 24 hours 123 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 05 challaned under COPTA. The total amount of compounding fee of challans under MV Act and COPTA is Rs. 20,200/-.
