CRIME REPORT 19 JULY

1.                 AN ACCIDENT Case  FIR No. 37/13 is registered at Police Station New Shimla on 18.06.13 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Neha D/o Sh. Jitender Kumar R/o Durga Cottage Bye-pass Road Khalini Shimla Distt Shimla HP, alleging therein that on 18.7.13 she went from her home with her sister Shakshi towards Khalini to purchase daily needs things and at 8.00 PM when she return to her home and reached near Aditya Traders Shop in front of Police Post khalini Shimla A Maruti 800 Alto car A/F comes rashly from BCS Side and hit her & her sister Shakshi and  also hit parked vehicle No. HP-51-2770 & HP-63-1019. This case is being Investigated by HC Inder Singh no.110 I/O PS New Shimla.

2.                 AN ATTEMPT  TO MURDER Case FIR No 122/13 is  registered  at  PS Rampur on 18.07.13 U/S 307 IPC & 25/54/59 Arm Act  on the Statement of Smt Sanaru W/o Sh. Bider Singh R/o Vill Marala PO Darkali Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla age 50year, alleging therein that  on 18.07.13 at  6 PM  when she was going to his store room from the kitchen Nek Ram S/o Toi Ram R/o Vill Marala Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla who's house is in front of her house. He said to her ,where is your husband Siddhu, I will kill you and your husband. All of sudden he fired to her but she escaped. The  case  is being investigated by SI/Addl/SHO Tilak Chand of PS Rampur Bsr Distt Shimla HP.

3.                 AN EXCISE ACT Case FIR No. 149/13 is registered at PS West on 18.07.13 on the Rukka of Sh. Nitya Nand Sharma AETO reached at Dhami where ASI Kudan Lal who recovered a Veh. HP 63-1097 with 115 boxes of country Liquor and 25 boxes English wine and total 140 boxes recovered. The marka on English Wine Officers Choice for sale in Himachal Pradesh. Above mentioned Veh. detained on 17.7.13 and handed over on 18.7.13 to AETO Sh. Nitya Nand. The permit No. 0810980 issue for 140 boxes of country liquor only. Whereas on checking found 25 boxes of English wine, which contravention of permit U/S 39(1) (a) of HP EX. ACT. The accused Amit kumar S/o Sh. Sushil Kumar R/o House No. -3 Market Line Subzi Mandi Shimla has been arrested. This case is being  investigating by Sh. Nitya Nand AETO Shimla.

4.                 During last 24 hours 152 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 02 person were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of challans under MV & COPTA Act is Rs. 25,800/-.
