Crime Report on May 19, 2018


  1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 37/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 18.05.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Naresh Kumar, SHO PS Jubbal alleging therein that on 18.05.2018, during patrolling/ Traffic checking alongwith staff, one person namely Chander Mann Pandey S/o Sh. Dhan Bahadur R/o Village Munna PO Darbag District Medgi Beni Anchal Dhoula Giri Nepal A/P C/o Sohan Singh Dilta R/o Sundli Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla , intercepted by them near link Road Mihana and recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Naresh Kumar, SHO PS Jubbal.  
  2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 91/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-Sadar on 19.05.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of HC Puran Chand, I/O Special Investigation Unit, Shimla alleging therein that on 18.05.2018 at about 11-10 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff near Snow-View Lakkar Bazar, Shimla, one vehicle No. HP01A-4449 (Swift Dzire) stopped by them for checking. During the search, 15 Boxes of Country liquor marka Himachal Orange recovered from above vehicle under the possession of  Sandeep Kumar S/o Sh. Madan Lal r/o Village Kanog PO Tiyali Tehsil Theog, Shimla A/P Chauhan, Keleston Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Puran Chand, I/O SIU, Shimla.
  3. ACT ENDANGERING LIFE OR PERSONAL SAFETY OF OTHERS: case FIR No 88/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 18.05.2018 U/S 336 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rajesh Shatan @ Bittu S/o Sh. Balak Ram Shatan R/o Village Pujaili PO Mahasu Tehsil Kotkhai District Shimla A/P Tanant C/o Karm Niwas Cemetery Road, Sanjauli Shimla, age 40 years stated therein that on 15.05.2018 at about 07-30 PM, his wife, Son, Uncle & Aunty and other house hold articles burnt with fire due to leackage of gas & blast in cylinder in his quarter, due to negligent act of his wife & uncle, when they were changed the cylinder. The case is being investigated by ASI Joginder Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.  
  4. During last 24 hours 630 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 196 fine realized Rs. 78,700/- and 17 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,700/-.
