Crime Report on September,17,2017

1.    The Prevention of Animal Cruelty Act case FIR No 132/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli Shimla on 16.09.2017 U/S 11-3-1960 The Prevention Of Animal Cruelty Act on the rukka of ASI Bhagirath I/C PP Mashobra alleging therein that on 16.09.2017 he was on law and order duty at Talai in Sayar Mela along with staff. Some people came there with buffalos and bulls for worship. During the worship temple committee organized a bull and buffalos fight which come under the breaking of law. On this act, case has been registered and investigating by I/C PP Mashobra.

2.    An Excise Act Case FIR No 167/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 16.09.2017 U/S 39 (1)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of inspector Sanjeev Gautam SHO PS Sadar alleging therein that on 16.09.2017 during patrolling he recovered 12 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Aakash S/o Sh Vijay Gil R/o Dhara near Guga Mari Krishna Nagar Shimla. Case has been registered and investigating by inspector Sanjeev Gautam SHO PS Sadar.

3.    A wrongful Restraint case FIR 176/17 has been registered at PS West on today, 17.09.2017 U/S 341, 506 on the statement of Yashwant Singh Chauhan R/o Block No 25/60 Type-3 Nabha house, Shimla age 45 year alleging therein that on 15.09.2017 he was coming from Chakkar to Shimla in his vehicle No. HP-03D-1393. When he reached at near BJP office a vehicle No.HP 52B-1990 driven by unknown person obstructed his way and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay I/O PS West.

4.    A rioting case FIR No 177/17 has been registered at PS West on 17.09.2017 U/S 147, 149, 506, 504,506 427 IPC on the statement of Sh Mehtab Singh S/o Sh Sardar Hardeep Singh H.No. 3100 sector No. 69 Mohali Punjab alleging therein that on 16.09.2017 he was performing a musical program at HPU Shimla. During  Program a person namely Prince (Amit Thakur) along with some other persons came there and broke his musical instruments and vehicle. They also threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigating by ASI Bhagat Ram I/O PS West.

5.     An Accident case FIR NO 178/17 has been registered at PS West on 17.09.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh Madhav S/o Sh Mohan Lal R/o village Bakukhola P/o Dharemor Tehsil and Distt Antal Rawati Nepal A/P Fouji Building near Dargah Ghoda Chowki Shimla alleging therein that on 16.09.2017 his wife Isha was coming to her quarter along with her Uncle on a motorcycle No HP 52A 2360. When they reached near 103 tunnel she fell down from motorcycle and sustained injuries. This case happened due to rash and negligent driving of her uncle Chander. The case is being investigating by HC Sanjay I/O PS West.

6.    An Accident case FIR No 114/17 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 16.09.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh Rattan Dass S/o Late Sh Mangat Ram R/o village Banah P/o Dehri Khanati Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 16.09.2017 a vehicle No HR 07K 9546 driven by Susheel came rashly from BCS side and hit him. Due to this incident he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by I/O Of PS New Shimla.   

7.    A Wrongful restraint case FIR No 160/17 has been registered at PS Rampur 16.09.2017 U/S 341,323,356,506,34 IPC on the application of Sh Mohit Negi S/O Sh Joginder Singh Village &PO Kamroo Tehsil Sangla Distt Kinnaur HP alleging therein that on dated 12.09.2017 at 7:00 PM when he was going towards Racholi. On the way near Patroll Pump Rampur Deep Raj , Ankit Negi , Anku Negi and Sunil Kapatia Obstructed his way and beaten him. They also stolen away Rs 5000/- from him and threatened him for dire consequences. The Case has been registered and is being investigated by HC Rajesh Kumar I/O PP City Rampur.

8.    An Accident case FIR No 98/17has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 17.09.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh Swaran Kumar S/o Sh Om Parkesh R/o Vill Chamarli PO Dalash Tehsil Anni Distt Kullu alleging therein that on 16.09.2017 he along with Tek Singh , Lalit Kumar were coming towards Chandigarh to Karcham ( Kinnaur) In a Loaded Truck No HP-49A-6001 .On the Way when they reached near Oddi The driver of the Truck No HP49A-6001 Namely Lalit Kumar S/o Sh Onkar Singh R/o Village & P/O Anni Tehsil Anni Lost the Control over vehicle and rolled down in deep gorge in which two other persons namely Tek Singh S/o Sh Bhadur Singh R/o Vill Jaibag PO Laghoti Tehsil Anni & Complainant of case sustained injuries . The Case is being investigated By HC Ram Sain No I/O P.S Kumarsain.

9.    During last 24 hours 211 vehicle were challenged under MV Act, compounded =101 & fine realized Rs 35,200/- and 19 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 1,900/-
