An Excise Act case FIR No. 13/15 is registered at PS Theog today i.e. on 14.01.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Narender stated therein that during the intervening night of 13/14.01.2014, he alongwith staff was on Nakabandi duty at Deha. During Nakabandi, one Vehicle No. HP-62A-2573 driven by Bhagat Ram S/o Sh. Nathu Ram R/o Village Godana, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 36 years, intercepted by them. During search, 120 bottles of country liquor marka Sirmaur Orange & 24 bottles of Beer marka Extra Strong, recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Narender Negi, I/O PS Theog.
An Accident case FIR No. 05/15 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 13.01.2015 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Deepak S/o Sh. Jup Lal R/o Village Totke, PO Luyam, Tehsil Phalavan, Distt. Salyan, Anchal Rapti, Nepal C/o Keshav Ram Thakur R/o Village & PO Barthata, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla stated therein that on 13.01.2015 at about 04-15 PM, one vehicle No. HP-10B-0919 met with an accident near Dhafali Kaichi due to rash & negligent driving of Sh. Prakash Thakur. In this accident, Prakash Thakur died on the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Pyare Lal, I/O PS Jubbal.
During last 24 hours Total 100 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total challan compounded= 41 and the fine realized Rs. 20,500/-
FOLLOW-UP
Accused Amit S/o Sh. Tulsi Raj R/o Village & PO Kandi Patnol, Tehsil Shillai, Sirmaur, age 25 years arrested in case FIR No. 01/15 Dt. 07.01.15 U/S 363,336A,376D,506,34 IPC & 4 POCSO Act at PS Kotkhai, today sent to judicial custody by the Trial court.
Road Condition
