A Cheating case FIR No. 97/14 has been registered at PS Rohru on 08.10.2014 U/S 420 406 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ravinder Zinta S/o Sh. Kalag Ram R/o Village- Sajar, PO- Pujarli No.-4, Tehsil Rohru, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that he was running Fruit and Vegetable Agency at Jagdish Niwas, Sabzi Mandi Rohru. He sold apple worth Rs. 4,97,000/- to Mr. Surender Dhalta S/o Sh. Negi Ram R/o Village & PO- Jhragr, Tehsil- Jubbal. Sureder Dhalta promise him to pay above amount within 10 days, but he does not pay him above amount and run away. The case is being investigated by HC Man Dass , I/O PP Tikker.
A Theft case FIR No. 98/14 has been registered at PS Rohru on 08.10.2014 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Sh. Suresh Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Gaglu Ram R/o Village- Hanstari, Sub-Tehsil- Tikker, Distt. Chopal alleging therein that during the intervening night of 06/07.10.2014, his servant namely Raj R/o Village- Pulwahal, Tehsil- Chopal, Distt. Shimla has stolen away 11 sheep & kitchen articles. The case is being investigated by ASI Kundan Lal I/O PP Tikker.
A Theft case FIR No 125/14 is registered at PS Rampur on 09.10.2014 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Sh. Arvind Negi S/O Sh. Jayoti Lal Negi R/o Village & PO- Meeru, Tehsil Nichar, Distt.- District Shimla presently residing at The Nest 1/207 Word No-1 Kalyanpur Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 08.10.2014, he parked his vehicle No HP-06-0326 near Indira Market at Rampur. On 09.10.2014, when he checked the vehicle he found that the locks of door were opened and his stereo mouth was stolen inside the car by some unknown person. The Case is being investigated by HC Ram Lal I/O PS Rampur Bsr Distt Shimla HP.
A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 194/14 has been registered at PS West on 08.10.2014 U/S 341, 323, 506 IPC on the application of Sh. Kamal Dass S/o Sh. Narsingh Dass R/o Village & PO- Shakrah, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 08.10.2014, he alongwith Satish Kumar was constructing the wall. At the same time, Pyare Lal S/o Sh. Beeja Ram R/o Village- Dhar came there and beaten him. After this, when they were going to home, above Pyare Lal again obstructed their way, beaten them & threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/O PP Dhami.
A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 195/14 has been registered at PS West on 08.10.2014 U/S 341, 323, 504,506,34 IPC on the report of Sh. Pyare Lal S/o Sh. Beeja Ram R/o Village- Dhar, PO- Shakrah, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 08.10.2014, four persons namely Kamal Dass, Subhash, Satish & Dalip have obstructed his way, abused him & beaten him. They have also threatened him for dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/C PP Dhami.
A Burglary case FIR No. 196/14 has been registered at PS West on 08.10.2014 U/S 457,380 IPC on the application of Sh. Rakesh Bisht S/o Sh. Ranveer Singh Bisht R/o Thakur Cottage, below AG Colony, Lower Phagli Shimla alleging therein that on 04.10.2014, he alongwtih his family have went to Kullu to celebrate the Dushehra festival. On 08.10.2014, when he came back home and found that some unknown person has stolen away golden/silver ornaments & cash Rs. 15,000/- from his house. The case is being investigated by Addl. SHO PS West.
An Act endangering life or personal safety of others case FIR No. 197/14 has been register at PS West on 08-10-2014 U/S 336,337 IPC on the application of Smt. Seeema Aggarwal W/o Sh. Ashok Kumar R/o SKC-201 Shipra Krishna Vista Indirapuram Gaziabad Utter Pradesh alleging therein that she alongwith her family came to visit Shimla. On 03.10.2014, they went to Potterhill near Summerhill in Shimla. When her daughter slide on rope the employee of ropeway negligently release the rope in high speed, due to which it struck on the tree, which cause injury to her daughter namely Moni. The case is being investigated by SI Babu Ram, I/O PS West.
During last 24 hours 113 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 11 Challan under Smoking Act. Total challan were compound= 69 and fine realize Rs. 9,900/-Follow-up

Hardyal Singh Thakur R/o Shallan, PO- Pujarli No. 2, Tehsil Rohru, District- Shimla, age-26 years, have been arrested in case FIR No. 95/14 Dt. 06.10.2014 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Rohru, today sent on judicial remand.

Accused Dola Ram S/o Sh. Manohar Dass Caste S/C Village & PO Nirmond Distt Kullu HP age 30 years has been arrested in case FIR No 125/14 Dt. 09.10.14 U/S 379 IPC Rampur. Accused will be produced before Ld ACJM Rampur by tomorrow.
Accused Prashant Chauhan S/o Lt. Sh. Narayan Chauhan R/o Verma Niwas Phase-W, New Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 121/14 Dt. 08.10.14 U/S 379, 427 IPC at PS East. he will be produced before Ld. court JMIC-5 Shimla tomorrow.
