CRIME REPORT 5 MAY

1.               A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT Case FIR No. 76/13 is registered at PS Rampur on 5.5.13 U/S 341,353,332,504 IPC on the statement of Sh. Surender Kumar S/o Sh Kishan Chand R/o VPO Nirath Teh. Rampur Distt Shimla, at present he is working  as driver in HRTC Rampur alleging  therein that when he was on duty alongwith HRTC Bus No HP06-7510 on 5.5.2013 at New Bus Stand Rampur another HRTC driver namely Ram Singh of HRTC bus has wrongfully restraint & beaten him. The Case is being investigated by HC Yoginder Singh  I/O PP City  City Rampur.

2.                   AN ACCIDENT  Case FIR No 50/13 is registered at PS Theog on 4.05.13 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh Vikram Shrma S/o Lt Sh. Sant Ram Sharma VPO Sandhal Tehsil Jaisinghpur Distt Kangra HP, alleging therein that on 4.05.13 when he was going to Matiana along with his brother Sh Satish Sharma in vehicle Car No HP63B-0984 at 1. PM  while they reached near Kadog Mode  a Alto Car No HP10A-1614 came to Matiana side and hit his Car. The driver of Alto Car Guddu Mehta S/o Lt Sh Bhagat Ram R/o Karchri P.O. Sharotha Teh. Rohru and Rajna, Heena got sustained injuries in this accident. This accident due to rash and negligent driving of Alto Car. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram I/O PS Theog.

3.              A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT Case FIR No. 26/13 is  registered at PS Rohru on 4.5.13 U/S 341,323,427,506,34 IPC on the statement of Sh Kanwar Singh S/o Sh Lachhi RamR/o Daroti P.O.Tikker Teh.Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 4.5.13 when he was coming  from Shimla to Daroti  alongwith his vehicle No. HP-63-0424at 4.30 PM near Umla Dwar he was  wrongfully restraint and beaten by Aruna@ Makhu S/o Roshan Lal R/o Frog and his  friend. After then  he his vehicle  had been damaged  by  aforesaid persons and threaten him with dire consequence. The case is being investigated by HC Man Das I/O PP Tikkar .

4.                   During last 24 hours 135 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 0I Challaned in Mining Act and 09 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of challans under MV, Mining & COPTA Act is Rs. 35,400/-
