Crime Report on 28th April 2019

1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 71/19 has been registered at PS Theog on 27.04.2019 U/S 20 ND&PS Act PS Theog on the ruka of SI Surjeet Singh, I/O PS Theog Shimla alleging therein that on 27.04.2019 at about 04-05 PM, when he alongwith staff was present on National Highway near Narail, at the same time, person namely Prem Roka S/o Sh. Nar Bahadur R/o Village Bajo, PO Mahog, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, who was coming from Matiana side, intercepted by them and during the search 1.500 Kg. Charas recovered from his possession. Accused has been arrested by the Police and further investigation of this case is being conducted by HC Suresh Kumar I/O PS Theog.

2.    An ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 97/19 has been registered at PS West on 28.042019 U/S 279,304 IPC on the statement of Sh Navneet S/o Sh Anoop Kumar R/o Assam House Bioleauganj Shimla alleging therein that on 28.04.2019 a pick up No. HP 62C -0241 came rashly from Shimla side and hit his firend’s scooty No.HP 63A 3393 in which his friend Jasvinder died on the spot. This accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving of Dinesh Negi S/o Sh Gyan Singh Negi R/o Rukhla P/o Ravlakyar Tehsil Kothkahi District Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Jaspal Singh I/O PS West.  

3.    During last 24 hours vehicles 405 were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 229,      20 persons challaned under Smoking Act.

1.   Accused (i) Rahul Thakur S/o Sh. Naresh Kumar R/o Village & PO Urtu, Tehsil Nirmand, District Kullu, Age 19 years & (ii) Maihul Sharma S/o Sh. Dinesh Sharma R/o Village & PO Sarahan Tejhsil Rampur, District Shimla, age 20 years arrested in case FIR No. 71/19 at PS Dhalli on 25.04.2019 U/S 21 29 ND&PS Act PS Dhalli are on Police remand up to 29.04.2019.

2.   Accused Prem Roka S/o Sh. Nar Bahadur R/o Village Bajo, PO Mahog, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, arrested in Case FIR No. 71/19 at PS Theog on 27.04.2019 U/S 20 ND&PS Act PS Theog is on police custody up to 01.01.209.
