Crime Report on 26th April 2019

1.   A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 71/19 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 25.04.2019 U/S 21 29 ND&PS Act on the rukka of L/ASI Ranjna I/O PP Sanjauli, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.04.2019 at about 06-40 PM, during patrolling alonwith staff, two persons namely Rahul Thakur S/o Sh. Naresh Kumar R/o Village & PO Urtu, Tehsil Nirmand, District Kullu, Age 19 years & Maihul Sharma S/o Sh. Dinesh Sharma R/o Village & PO Sarahan Tehsil Rampur, District Shimla, age 20 years, intercepted by them near Anchal Apartment on Forest Road leading towards IGMC Shimla and during the search, 6.13 Gram Chitta (Heroin) recovered from their possession. The case is being investigated by HC Chaman Lal, I/O PS Dhalli.  

2.   A RIOTING: Case FIR NO. 70/19 has been registered at PS East on 25.04.2019 U/S 323,451,147 & 149 IPC on the statement of Sh Shasahank Ranjan S/o Sh Shyam Sunder Prasad R/o village Lalu Path Mohalla Ram Krishna Nagar Tehsil Kewad Bag District Patna (Bihar) A/P Student of APG University Shimla alleging therein that on 25.04.2019 Mr Jevik Chauhan alongwith his friends beaten him brutally in the campus of APG University. The Case is being investigated by HC Pramod Kumar I/o PP Kasumpti.

3.   AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 70/19 has been registered at PS Theog on 25.04.2019 U/S 39(i)(a) HP Excise Act on the Rukka of ASI Chet Ram I/C PP Deha alleging therein that on 25.04.2019 during patrolling in the jurisdiction of PP Deha and recovered 543 bottles of Country Liquor from the possession of Mohan Lal S/o Sh Ram Dass R/o village Tarapur P/o Deha Tehsil Theog District Shimla. The case is being investigated by I/C PP Deha.

4.   During last 24 hours vehicles 662 were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 362, 19 persons challaned under Smoking Act.

Dinesh Sharma R/o Village & PO Sarahan Tejhsil Rampur, District Shimla, age 20 years arrested in case FIR No. 71/19 at PS Dhalli on 25.04.2019 U/S 21 29 ND&PS Act PS Dhalli are on Police remand up to 29.04.2019.
