1. A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 55/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 07.06.2017 U/S 3, 4 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Rohit Bhardwaj, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 07.06.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff at Jangla Bazar, three persons namely Kapil Dev, Jai Raj and Bhagat Chand apprehended by them during playing gambling in public place and recovered Rs. 1,540/- from the spot. The case is being investigated HC Rohit Bhardwaj, I/O PS Chirgaon.
2. A MURDER: Case FIR No. 108/17 has been registered at PS Theog today on 08.06.2017 U/S 302 IPC on the statement of Sh. Laiq Ram S/o Sh. Beli Ram R/o Village Dhagali, PO Balag, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 07.06.2017 at about 04-00 PM, two persons namely Ramesh @ Bittu S/o Sh. Rati Ram and Daulat Ram S/o Sh. Parma Nand, both are the villagers of Kerana, were scuffled with each-other and after some time they went to their house. after an hour, above both persons come again at the same place and again scuffled with each-other. At about 12-00 AM, Daulat Ram came to his house, knock the door & demanded for match box and told him that he has killed Ramesh. Today on 08.06.2017 at about 06-30 AM, when he reached in his orchard and found that deadbody of Ramesh lying backside of dhara with blood stained injuries on his face & neck. He doubts that Daulat Ram has killed him with sharp weapon. The case is being investigated by ASI Sanjeev Kumar, I/C PP Deha (Theog).
3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 38/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 08.06.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Kishan Roy S/o Sh. Tek Chand Roy R/o Village Dirnar, PO Jakhani Lani Kathiyan Dehradun stated therein that today on 08.06.2017 a Tractor No. HP-65-4546 met with an accident at Kanathali and rolled down 500 meter from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Prakash S/o Sh. Hari Singh R/o Village Grodu PO Ner Chowk. In this accident, Amar Singh S/o Sh. Vidya Singh R/o Village Barkeli PO Brach, Rampur sustained injuries and driver Prakash run away from the spot.
4. During last 24 hours 374 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 210 & fine realized Rs. 79,500/- and 37 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,700/-.
